Very nice house, a bit remote so I would definitely recommend renting a car. I have not seen many Taxis in the area but if you speak Japanese you might be able to get by using taxis. The next larger town is Yoshida where you can find supermarkets (e.g. Tagoju Kobeten), the next Kombini (Family Mart) as well as a "Rest Stop" (Sorattomakinohara) with a farmers market attached can be found in Sakabe, about 10 mins away. Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport is close by and you can hear planes taking off about 3-4 times a day but it is not at all disturbing. It is however convenient if you plan to come by flight. Beaches, e.g. Katahama Beach, are easily accessible and are about 20-30 mins away. The house is really well designed and appointed, with nice open living room, nice large and functional kitchen as well as a nice bathroom. The house has really all amenities, including a good washing machine and a dishwasher (which is rare in Japanese holiday houses). The outdoor area is very nice to enjoy on a warm day. Around he house you have lot of farms, tea plantations and greenery, which make for a nice setting. Although a road runs by the house it is very quiet and you enjoy bird and cricket songs throughout the day. The owner is a designer with his own brand and the house is tastefully appointed. There are some very unique collectibles in a display case around the dining area. The dining area has a floor heater which is great for colder days. The beds are on the 2nd floor and are very comfortable, although the pillows are on the smaller side. The owner makes it a point to receive guests in person to explain everything, which is really nice and far from the norm. We will definitely come back!

何おいても、とにかく最高でした！

建物はデザイン性が高く、構造や内装だけでなくキッチンやバス、トイレもおしゃれで清潔でした。1家族（子供含め5人）で利用しましたがベッドルームは2部屋、ベッドはセミダブルを含め合計5台ありいずれも寝心地が良かったです。キッチンには自炊に必要な調理器具や食器類（どれもおしゃれです）、調味料がそろっており、不便はありませんでした。冷蔵庫にはミネラルウォーターだけでなく幾つか食材の用意もあり驚きました。茶畑が多く点在する地域にあり、今回は1泊のみでしたが連泊すれば静岡県の田舎の雰囲気を満喫できそうでした。簡単なボードゲームやカードゲーム、子供向けのおもちゃもあり外へ出かけなくても楽しめそうです。

2月の宿泊でしたが、空調の効いていない玄関ホールにあるトイレは寒く使用しづらかったです（リビング近くにあるもうひとつのトイレは問題ありませんでした）。使用料はやや高めの設定かと思いますが、建物のデザインや絵画、現代オブジェを楽しむという通常の民泊にはないアーティスティックな体験ができる点を考慮すれば納得です。
