Nihon Iro

We loved eveything from start to finish! Rooms, pyjamas, breakfast, onsen access - all made the stay perfect.

The housing was very clean and cared for. The reception staff was very accommodating.

This is an amazing place to stay in Shizuoka. It was easy to arrive from Tokyo by Shinkansen then local train to Mochimune station. The staff was able to pick us up from the local station, though it is also a walkable distance. We stayed in Kohaku which was perfect for our group of 6 (check Nihon Iro website for the different stay options). We had a charcoal grill set up in room (only 3,200 yen charge for setup) and we grilled meat from local market for dinner. The in-room projector was perfect for movie night (I recommend bringing laptop and HDMI cord for easier use). There are a lot of small shops/restaurants within walking distance, including a gelato shop and a brewery. Really wished we stayed longer than one night!

施設は綺麗で朝ごはんも大変美味しかったです！ 周りもオシャレなカフェや日本酒の試し飲みができる施設や、ビーチや港があるので釣りなどもとても楽しめました！

駐車場が大変狭く、出口にとても嫌な感じのポールがあるなとは思ってギリギリを切り返していたんですが、ポールの死角に古びた南京錠がかかっていて、見事に擦り傷がつき一気に冷めてしまいました。 少し大きめの車はまず苦労する狭さの道にある駐車場なので、ポールは撤去や、車種によっては売店横の駐車場を使用出来るようにするなどをしてもらわないと厳しい気がします。
