Had the garden facing room, room was very spacious with a cute dinning table and plenty of free amenities.
Private bath attached to the room was lovely, very hot but nice.
Do note there is a hot water fee attached so if you are a larger person or a couple getting in together and spill a bunch of water you will need to pay at checkout. For me it was 150 yen, no big deal for a private garden bath .
Breakfast was good with a wide variety of items provided. However, if you are a picky eater there is japanese style only so maybe skip if you don't want fish for breakfast.
They were even so kind to offer to pick me up from the station, and drive me back the next day. The staff overall were very kind and professional.
Oh and there were bed rolls in the closet if your prefer that over western style.
The area around it has its charm, very local and it's clearly a working town and harbor so not the prettiest, not sure the harbor view side is worth it.
The facilities are very nice but don't go expecting a fancy mountain retreat, you aren't paying those kinds of prices, but for a fun change of pace without the price tag or journey it was worth it.
The private onsen is complimentary so not even really a complaint, but it's maybe twice as big as the bath attached to your room, it did have cold barley tea on tap in the bath house which was nice (note I do not like barely tea). I would say stick to your personal bath despite the tiny water fee.
As a larger man the provided yukata sadly didn't fit, I'm sure I could have asked staff for a larger one. But it was fine and not mandatory to enjoy the facilities.

Staff was so amazing and friendly and helpful. The room was everything we wanted and more, so relaxing and nice. Good kaiseki dinner at the hotel restaurant!
