The room linen smelled fresh. There's plenty cups and plates which was great.

The process to receive check in instructions was onerous. After submitting passport details and photos, was asked to send utility bill information again on the day despite already deducting a full 300£ in security deposit. The house was chilly and heating was poor The bathroom water ran cold. The fridge in the kitchen hasn't been sanitised in a long time. The handle on the bathroom door was knackered to the extent the screws were coming off it.

Good, but not great.

Nice and spacious. The location was great for us, as it was close to where my family lives. Easy to find parking, as it was on a quiet street with no restrictions.

The house was cold when we arrived. We couldn't turn the heating on, so I messaged the host. In fairness, they replied fairly quickly, but we were literally in and out when we arrived, as we had to be somewhere. I had turned it on just before we left, and when we came back (gone midnight), it was still cold (heating had gone back off). The next morning, I turned it back on, but there was no hot water. Check out is 10am, so it was a struggle to pack up and sort out 3 young children, so, by the time I fiddled around with the old boiler and managed to get the water going, there wasn't time for us all to have a shower. The fridge stank, which was a shame. In general, the house was a bit shabby, (not dirty) with broken door handles, laminate flooring broken, light switches loose/broken. They also hold a £300 damage deposit, which was another bad point.

We had a comfy stay

The rooms are well designed, very comfy and cozy. It also has a fully equiped kitchen and check in was easy, host was superb. Parking available in front of the house, but depends if no one has parked yet (terraced house). The house is near Penny Lane & big Asda.

There's only 1 toilet. After we had a shower, water leaked from the toilet to the kitchen below. We had to put plenty of towels in the kitchen. I informed the host, hopefully it was sorted.
