Apart from small fixable issues noted above, we would recommend this location for other travellers.

Positives - does not look like much on the outside but everyone was pleasantly surprised at how well decorated the home was and how well the interior was designed and laid out. There were lots of beds that were comfy; plenty of linens and towels and enough toilet and showering facilities for a family of 5. The view from the patio was amazing. We saw hot air balloons many nights. Kitchen was adequate for making meals, not too much or too little supplies. Location is just outside a village and there were lovely drives in the area for visiting chateaux, which was the purpose of our visit. Parking was available for at least 2 cars. Grocery shopping was adequate in Bléré but better selections in Tours.

Feedback - everyone loved the interior of the home and the kids were excited to sleep in the upstairs loft/bedroom but in the evenings we discovered that the upstairs bedrooms were hot and airless. The first night the kids left the windows open and there was a great breeze but there were no screens so they were bothered by moths and gnats. The remaining 2 nights of our stay got really hot and the kids didn't want to open the windows so they ended up sleeping downstairs. Screens or fans or portable ACs upstairs would help upstairs and a fan near the staircase would help circulate the air downstairs. We were able to keep the windows open in the bedroom downstairs so were not as bothered during the night. Some open shelving in the kitchen area for glasses would be helpful and safer. The cupboard for glasses was too high for some height challenged family members. Reaching high and to the side to put away glasses on glass shelves was not comfortable.

Situation idéale pour un séjour en famille au calme et proche de nombreuses activités.

A défaut de pouvoir contempler le champ des étoiles, nous avons pleinement profité du chant des oiseaux et de la vue magnifique. Le gîte est très agréable avec sa décoration soignée et reposante et il est fonctionnel. Son hôte est sympathique, disponible et réactif. Les enfants ont apprécié le babyfoot les jours de pluie... Bravo!

Heerlijk rustig verblijf voor een week

Prachtig huisje op een rustige locatie van alle gemakken voorzien. Onze dochter van 3 had alle ruimte om te spelen in zowel de grote tuin als in het appartement. De bedden lagen heerlijk en de douche was prima.
