Alita Mansion Kyobashi 梅田-大阪駅-淀屋橋-福島エリア

PROS 1. The location is near the Kyobashi train station (a 10-minute walk). There is Aeon Supermarket and 711 store across the building. 2. The rooms are spacious enough with a double-size bed. Beddings are also provided. 3. Available kitchen hardware and utensils. 4. Air conditioning is good. 5. Quiet neighborhood. 6. Umbrellas are provided in case of rain.

CONS 1. No bidet in the restroom. This is our first time (in 10 years) experiencing an accommodation in Japan without a bidet. Come to think of it, Japan is the innovator of, and it is popular for, comfort in the restroom. 2. There is no elevator. We were put in a room on the 4th floor despite the availability on the lower floors (ground to 3rd floor). We are tourists, and we shop. Imagine bringing up pieces of luggage to the 4th floor, and bringing down 3 pcs of 20-kg luggage, 4 pcs of 7-kg luggage, a stroller, and a baby. 3. The manager was not considerate. We requested to be transferred to a lower location but were denied. We requested a 2-hr late checkout (checkout is 10 AM), at least to be compensated for putting us on the 4th floor, but were also denied. Our flight back home was at 8 PM.

Location was quietish (still got traffic noises in the morning but nothing surprising for staying in a city!), great to have two showers/toilets, AC worked wonders, super handy to have wash machine to use for clothes. Great food nearby and lovely walk over Osaka Castle from the building.

Nothing was too bad honestly! Stairs are a bit inaccessible (no elevator) but not much you can do. We had a cockroach the first day but I think that was because of the rain (^∧^)

2 bathrooms equipped with hot water. 2 rooms with futons available, comfortable for our family. Near to convenient stores and train station. The owner is very responsive although we checked in late. Owner immediately changed the lock system when we reported problem and always responded even when we contacted at midnight.

No elevators No ironing equipment although it was advertised as available. We bought one but unable to bring home due to voltage difference so we left it in the room. Dirty dishes,only one small frying pan available.

It is in a good location. Nearby Kyobashi station has good connectivity. The layout of the flat is functional. All of the amenities were working properly.

Cleanliness. The staff reacted to our comments so the following guests should not face the same issues. I would have preferred having some glass dishes and cups instead of plastic ones.
