Hollys Hideaway

This property is completely immaculate, well stocked full of everything you could possibly need and the quality of the cookware, soft furnishings etc. are of a really high standard. Quite often with dog friendly properties, I’ve found that the soft furnishings and living area can be quite basic, but it was so nice to be surrounded by high quality furniture and as a dog owner, be trusted to ensure we leave the house as clean and tidy as we found it. The location is perfect for what we needed. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. We needed somewhere to ‘hunker down’ after a busy Christmas and somewhere away from NYE fireworks with our dog being very nervous, and this place was perfect! The hosts were lovely and checked we had everything thing we needed and we were warm enough, but let us be for the duration of our holiday. The welcome hamper was a lovely, thoughtful touch. I also need to mention the little touches which made our holiday perfect. I’d forgotten my shampoo and conditioner and weren’t planning to go to a shop until later in the holiday, there were all toiletries provided in the bathroom which was brilliant. I loved the provision of blankets, tea and coffee, salt and pepper, milk in the fridge, the hosts had thought of everything guests could possibly need to settle in from day 1.

Nothing we didn’t like. We would occasionally hear the comings and goings from the hosts home, but this is completely to be expected as Holly’s Hideaway is attached to the main house.

The location was excellent the property was outstanding very clean and comfortable had excellent service from Colin and Vicky will definitely book again would recommend without question

Lovely views. Very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Home from home. It was very welcoming. Lovely touch with the treets and Christmas decorations.

There was nothing I disliked

Lovely accommodation, very pleasant surroundings.
