The Stables property was very private, with no adjoining or nearby cottages. All the facilities were provided to allow an enjoyable and offline stay. The open fire was great and if not in use the building had easily controlled central heating.
The mattress, although comfortable enough, could've been a little better and in the bedroom there is limited storage and non to hang clothes(we managed but had to use the store cupboard hooks.)

Lovely cosy cottage in a peaceful setting. Had everything we needed. Lots of wildlife, including a red squirrel hopping along a nearby fence!

Beautiful location. This was our 3rd time at the house. The housekeeper, Margaret, was a superstar. The cottage was warm and comfortable and we had an exceptional time.
