2 Bed in High Peak oc-pk551

This cottage is in a beautiful part of Derbyshire and the views from the windows are idyllic. The location is sightly away from the place where walkers park and start their journeys - it means you have a private parking place. The lounge is very large and has a log burner. We went in October 2025 and the cottage is kept warm with central heating. The owners live in the other end of the barn conversion - a separate residence. They are very helpful and available to sort out any issues if needed, and otherwise left us to enjoy the week we spent in their cottage.

Location was superb. Beautiful views from each window and lovely walks from the property.

Location is stunning with views from every window across the countryside. Quiet, no light pollution and no traffic. Well situated for us to meet friends and family.

Nothing to dislike

Location, location, location. Just perfect. Amazing walks from the doorstep and a cosy cottage to return to. Dog friendly without smelling of dog. Very clean and well stocked with everything you could need.

Update the TV guide as it states has sky but there is only freeview. Also still states local swimming at Marple Dolphin centre - this was closed 6 years ago and has now been knocked down! Just little trivial things that didn't affect our holiday at all especially as we are familiar with the area but others may head to Marple looking to swim and be disappointed.
