Lovely property in a great location

Modern, clean and a bit quirky. The coffee machine with milk frother was a lovely addition to the kitchen. Air fryer too (not that we know how to use it).

I wish the place was warm ISH when we arrived. Thermostat says 11 and it took ~6 hours too warm up decently, with the heating on, gas fire and wood fire all on.

A real home from home.

A real home from home - The property was immaculate and so cosy; it’s very well equipped with a barista style coffee machine, fridge freezer, air fryer, dishwasher, washer/dryer etc.! We could have easily stayed here for a week or more. The dining room is lovely, especially with the log burner lit and the living area was so comfortable and cosy. Both bedrooms were very bright and spacious, the bathroom was big too with a shower and freestanding bath. Highly recommend staying here!

Nothing at all! Don’t make the same mistake as me and make sure you read the information pack when you arrive, it has everything you need (I missed this and messaged the host, she replied and was happy to help! But all the info was already there).

Great value for money and very cosy

Log burner was lovely, the additional gas fire was nice too and less hassle to keep going. Very comfortable and very good value for money.

Couldn’t get the heating to stay on so it did get cold through the night, but we didn’t ask so theres maybe an easier way

Warm, cozy and a great location

Absolutely beautiful little cottage in a wonderful location. It was nicely decorated with great space, cozy and welcoming amenities. The hosts were extremely friendly and obviously take pride in their little cottage. Thank you for a lovely experience, we cant wait to come again!

Difficult to park. Settled in the closed hotel car park at the bottom of the hill. Then discovered on reading the info in the house that that was a good place to park. Prior info would be useful.

Very quaint cottage, rustic but with modern, good quality amenities. Has a lot of character.

Nothing - only minor point is that an iron and board would have been a bonus.

Perfect holiday cottage!

We had a lovely short stay at this beautiful, charming cottage full of character. Such a great location to explore the Peak District with pubs/restaurants within walking distance. The cottage itself is stunning, well equipped and very cosy. We will return but for longer next time!

Great property and host

Quirky, cute, cosy house, lovingly decorated. Comfy bed. Perfect location for a week end in the Peak District (we did the kinder scout walk). We had a wonderful stay. Didn’t meet the owner, Jayne, but she was very friendly over emails and accommodating with our request. Would definitely recommend and stay again

Spiral staircase might not suit everyone- for us it was fine. Also a full length mirror somewhere would have been handy

Great location and amenities

Really well equipped house with everything we needed for a longer stay, including the ability to do laundry. It’s got a unique layout and interesting features whilst maintaining a comfortable feel.

The head height is a bit low in a few places like the spiral stairs but we got used to it.

Absolutely recommend this cottage for a short break away. The cottage itself is first class.

Beautiful cottage. Very comfortable and in a lovely village with stunning scenery and lovely walks all around. Communication with the host was excellent and it was a fabulous few days away.

There’s no private parking, it is all street parking. The village is very busy but we didn’t have too much difficulty.
