Our stay at the Old Toll House was perfect. Jayne was very helpful, all instructions were clear and there’s a guide inside the cottage. The location was great, the village has everything you need and larger shops are close by, with a large choice of walks close by. The cottage itself is lovely, very homely and characteristic with everything you could need inside. Our stay was very comfortable and felt like a home from home. Would highly recommend!

The cottage is cosy and very well stocked for a few days in the Peak District. Everything is spotless clean. We were traveling with a four month baby and even though all the steps, in particular the spiral staircase, are not the most practical to do holding a baby - every space is well thought of. Some care needs to be taken getting out of the house, as it sits in the middle of a tight crossroad.
