Beautiful Country Cottage

Had a lovely stay. House is fantastic with everything you might need plus a cosy woodburner with well stocked pile for end of the days walking. Great location. Can walk from the cottage over middle moor to William Clough and up and onto Kinder Scout. Also a short half mile walk into Hayfield and the Sett valley way. Really quiet, cosy and very friendly and a pub at the end of the road too.

Nothing at all.

It was easy to find the lock box and get the keys for the property. The code was sent on the morning of our arrival and this worked well. Lots of communication from the property owner, which felt reassuring and helpful. The property itself is lovely. Really cosy and quiet and lots of information about the area left by the owners, which was really helpful. It felt really homely and well appointed. We loved that there were lots of walks straight out of the door, and the walk to Hayfield was really easy and quick. Overall, I really enjoyed staying in the property and would recommend it to others coming to the area.

We struggled to get the bottom lock to open at first as the key didn't want to work. But once we were in, we were able to use just the Yale lock and it wasn't a problem.

Lovely cottage in beautiful village of Little Hayfield. Easy to get to wedding venue at Upper House. Good wifi and facilities. Great communication from the host.

We had some trouble with getting the TV working, but otherwise a lovely stay.

Another toilet would have been good. A bedroom with twin beds.
