Hotwells apartments flat 7- Hopewell

Good location for city. Nice walk along the river. Also, nice walk to see Burnel’s suspension bridge. Well appointed apartment. Good directions and instructions. Parking space provided which is very useful and very good value.

We were short of toiletries only one set between two and they are very small. One large towel each for 4 days wasn’t enough. Plus we only had one small towel between two of us. Thermostat in on-suit shower room was very tricky to adjust. Water was dangerously hot but eventually it turned. I think it’s faulty. Grout in shower was black in corner. However, on the whole it was a nice apartment.

Good sized flat with everything you could need. Comfortable and clean throughout. Visiting for the balloon festival so location was ideal. Slightly worried that we were on a busy road and not far from a boisterous pub but this was unfounded. Gated parking was a bonus although spaces were limited and we didn't always get one.

Sofa was snug for 3 would be too small for 4.

I stay regularly at these apartments which are always spotlessly clean. It has gated parking too which gives you that extra bit of security if you're in a van with tools like myself. Communication from the management team is excellent and they send the codes for the external doors and lockbox on the day of arrival. The location is also excellent if you want to visit the attractions, the city is about 20 - 30 minutes walk away which is very pleasant if you go by the waterfront and there's plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from along the way.

The kitchen could do with a pair of scissors for opening food packets etc and a few more baking trays would be useful but that's my only personal gripe, other than that everything else is excellent.
