Key wasn’t in the safe it took me 2.5 hours to find suitable accommodation it was 3am I was left in the cold being asked

Ok little spot.
How close it was to transport links and restaurants is useful. Tv great size 👍🏽 bed was super comfortable.
Terrible smell from the ensuite although they did send someone 3rd day of stay. I would suggest them using baking soda and bleach before anyone stays until the plumbing is sorted. The room also gets cold quickly they do provide a heater turn on as soon as you enter the room.

Great price, a little rough around the edges but what do you expect?
The room was very kitted out with everything I could need. Locks worked very well
Instructions for door entry and WiFi code were not clearly displayed in the joining instructions. When I couldn't find them.and asked for them, the reply was condescending and did not give a friendly helpful impression. This could be easily avoided by making the joining instructions clear and obvious and adding the details for the wifi within the room itself. The blinds need fixing there is no pull string The clock needs fixing, it isn't working

The noise - upstairs sounded like they would come through the ceiling and the stairs outside every time someone walked past.

Done the job and would stay here again
The room was very spacious and the bed was absolutely comfortabke.
The Bathroom Cupboard was quite dirty with someone's else eyelashes inside and was very dusty. Also, I had trouble connecting to the Wifi as the access point listed was not shown.

The room was exactly what we needed for our short trip, local to where we needed to be
It was very central to Solihull, we could easily explore and had coffee house's and restaurants a moments walk away. Complementary coffee & tea already in the room was much appreciated. A ready to go Netflix account made it easy to relax in the evening and find a show we like. It was clean, tidy and had enough space for 2 people on a light trip. The host, we never met in person, however we had very positive interactions through messages / emails. The ensuit was exactly what you’d expect, simple shower, toilet and sink and that’s all we needed. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in too.
The window of the room was rather thin, meaning that a lot of the street noise came into the room. We attempted to pad the window up with scarves and blankets that we had. Although this would all be wet in the morning due to the condensation in the room. We totally appreciate that the window was not to be opened, however it did make things hot and stuffy at times. When originally looking at and booking the property it was not made clear to us that a ÂŁ200 security deposit would be needed to stay at the room. We were only notified of this 3 days before we intended to check in, as we had not accounted this into our budget for the trip it was a little bit of a shock. Being more transparent about this and having it stated on the rooms listing would be all that is needed. Do not mislead people to book the room and then be in a position where it would cost more to cancel the room than to pay the deposit.
