TL812: 812 Treeloft Trace

We had a wonderful stay on Seabrook Island! The home was clean, bright, and welcoming, with plenty of board games and entertainment options that made our downtime especially enjoyable. One of our favorite parts of the experience was the overall safety and security of the island—it’s essentially a gated community, which gave us great peace of mind.

A few notes for future guests: the toaster didn’t work during our stay, and both queen beds were extremely soft—we personally prefer a firmer mattress, but that’s just a matter of preference. I would recommend that the listing be updated to include more detailed instructions for accessing the property and amenities. You will need to download two separate apps—one for the rental property and one for island amenities. Additionally, Sweetgrass Properties will contact you via email and text with a QR code for your gate pass. Contrary to what we expected, you do not stop at the office; instead, scan your QR code at the gate and the attendant will provide your paper pass. The amenities are worth mentioning in more detail in the listing as well. This property allows access to the Lake House outdoor pool (free), but the indoor pool charges $15 per person. You must bring your own towels for both. If you’re interested in the Beach Club, it’s $50 per day and towels are provided. Just note that we didn’t find direct beach access from the Beach Club—you’ll want to use one of the boardwalks nearby instead.
