Disappointed by Misleading Advertising and Unresolved Issues – Not Worth the Price

I’m sharing this review to help future guests make an informed decision. The house has potential, but until the management addresses these problems seriously and transparently, I cannot recommend it.

We stayed at BZ House Possidi in August 2025, drawn by its previously perfect rating and appealing photos. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what was promised, and many of the issues mentioned in earlier reviews were still present, despite assurances from the owners that they had been resolved. Here’s what we encountered: • Hot water was unavailable for two full days, forcing most of us to take cold showers. • The upstairs shower cabin leaked, and the drain was clogged, making it nearly unusable. • The washing machine was broken and leaking, which ruined some of our clothes. • The beds were extremely uncomfortable, with old mattresses that had broken springs poking through, and noisy frames that made it impossible to move without disturbing the person next to you. • The fridge took two days to cool, which was a major inconvenience. • WiFi was present but nearly unusable, relying on GSM in an area with poor signal. • Only one A/C unit located in the hallway meant we had to choose between climate comfort and privacy. While the living room furniture was of good quality and the outdoor area was pleasant, these positives were overshadowed by the many unresolved issues that significantly impacted our comfort and overall experience. We booked this property when it had a perfect 10 rating, only to arrive and find it had dropped to 6.9. This was a clear red flag, and unfortunately, the negative reviews were accurate. Despite raising concerns with the owner before arrival, we were reassured that the property was in good condition. That turned out not to be the case. We feel misled by the listing and disappointed that a non-refundable booking was the only option available, especially for a property with such serious and recurring issues. A cancellation policy without flexibility should not be allowed for listings that fail to meet basic standards.

Uncleane house and unprofessional,ignorant, and rude management of BZ house

The house is 6min walk to the beach , however between two roads,one is major road and very busy& noisy.Two of the rooms face the main road and are very noisy at night and dusty.At check in at 4pm ,we found that the house wasn't clean apart from the changed bed sheets.Bathroom upstairs had mould and scum all over.Washing machine is a mouldy, stinking and leaking disaster,spoiled some blouses.Rubbish bins in the kitchen and both bathrooms were not emptied.There was hairs,dust,fluff etc in the cupboards,drawers and under the beds.Chris the agent had to call the vleaners to rectify the issue. TV set was broken,therefore not useful.On day 2 was replaced with a new one.There was a false advertising on booking.com regarding a hair dryer availability as there was none.It was supplied upon our request in the middle of our stay.Misleading advertising of parking ptovided by the property, but in reality it is a on-street parking in front of the house. Supplys of toiletries and toilet paper were insufficient for 5 persons for 5 days. The double bed matress in the room on the west side of the house desperately needs a replacement as the springs poked into my ribs and therefore I couldn't get a proper sleep.This was the worst bed I have ever slept on. Other big inconvinience is that the house have one A/C only on the wall of the stairs,that does not cool down the living room on level one.On our request to get a fan to survive the 40degC Greek july days,we were rudely refused. Showers in both bathrooms leak as well.Upstairs bathroom door handle came out of the door on a number of occasions before being fixed,once i was locked for a while in there. Overall, we lost at least 1.5 days out of the 5 days of family reunion dealing with issues or having people coming and going out of the house losing privacy.

Verbesserungswürdig, leider ist die Strasse sehr laut

Sehr guter und unkomplizierter Kontakt zur Agentur. Das Haus ist groß und leistungsstarken Klimaanlage ausgestattet, in fünf Minuten ist man am sehr kleinen Strand und bei vielen netten Restaurants

Das WLAN war schwach, und es gab keinen Geschirrspüler. Einige der in der Beschreibung genannten Geräte wie Mikrowelle und Haartrockner waren leider nicht vorhanden. Das untere Bad ist sehr klein, die Dusche im oberen Stock undicht, das Wasser wird sehr heiß und lässt sich schlecht regulieren. Beide Duschen haben keine Halterung für den Duschkopf und sind stark verkalkt. Es gibt keine Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bad. Der Grill im Garten ist leider kaum nutzbar, da die Grillroste verrostet waren. Außerdem liegt das Haus direkt an einer stark befahrenen Straße – der Verkehr ist deutlich hörbar, auch nachts.
