Cosy 1 Bed Cottage Scarborough

The cottage was lovely. It was very clean and you felt like you were at home. You had everything you needed. Very central to walk into Scarborough .

Beautiful little cottage - ideal for us - a couple and two small dogs. Very clean, lovely bathroom,nice toiletries; small private courtyard which got a surprising amount of sun, interesting selection of books and games, great parking arrangement - scratch card for 4 days free parking - we found a space almost outside, nice contemporary decor - blue, seaside themed - colour coordinated, modern fresh furniture; well equipped kitchen; lots of local info supplied - a lot of thought has gone into making a pleasant stay

3 small changes I would make for a better stay/home comforts - in the lounge there was either a (too stark for me) bright ceiling light or one very dim light - no 'in between' - I would have liked the choice of more subtle lighting - e.g. another table lamp or 'ikea type' standard lamp; you could see right in - a half 'net' on the bottom of the windows would have given more privacy as you are right next to the street; one small bath towel each and one hand towel for 3 nights was not really adequate - luckily we could dry them outside as the we had 3 warm, windy days - we hope to return and will bring towels with us;

Very clean, good location for shopping.

No washine machine (my fault as not noticed in the description). No net curtains or blinds at the windows meant no privacy from property opposite. Lot of traffic up and down Tollergate which surprised me, not hosts fault though. Couldn't get used to the bathroom being downstairs, again not the hosts fault.

Hospitality, tea, coffe, milk, etc.

Not suitable for anyone who finds walking difficult due to location. The stairs were also a challange, especially during the night due to the toilet being downstairs.
