Rydal Cottage

There once was a cottage so grand, Called Rydal in Scarborough’s land. With history deep, And seagulls to greet, We hiked just as far as we planned. We traveled to Whitby one day, Where Dracula wanted to play. This place is the best, For comfort and rest, Highly recommended, we say!

The dishes were not clean.

Great location between the North and South Bays. Comfortable beds and quiet area meant a good night’s sleep.

Bedroom windows wouldn’t open but luckily the rooms were cool. Shower took some figuring out but once shower head was lowered it worked well.

The cottage had everything you needed to be comfortable.

Location although the street you were on was level, the street off it was extremely steep. The parking was on one side and you had to turn onto another steep street to turn around. OK if you are young and no health issues but for us its ruined it to the point we only stayed 2 out of the 4 days. I also didnt like the booking process, did it through booking but then it was Sykes Cottages who I could never get hold of them before we travelled.
