Hidden gem

There is nothing not to like. Remote, quiet. Fantastic views. The room is like an apartment. Everything has been thought of. Comfortable, homely with an amazing taste in style.

We loved it all. Plan to return in the warmer months to enjoy the view in the lighter nights.

Amazing stay with glorious views, accommodation and food! Excellent 5 Star!

The location is amazing especially when the sun is setting. The bath in front of the big window is a beautiful place to relax. The facilities are very good and we had everything we needed and more. The restaurant is amazing too. We have been coming to the restaurant for years and have never had a bad experience, it is always beautiful food and great staff.

Beautiful location, lodge was perfect, very clean, comfortable and luxurious. Katherine and Zac are perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble, ensured we had a fantastic stay. Restaurant is lovely, friendly staff, fantastic food and drinks.

The little owl was beautiful 😍 so cosy. Myself and husband had a fab anniversary. Everything u needed in the lodge, little treats left for u. Restaurant was lovely too. We are definitely booking again x

It had the wow factor, stunning views. Luxury furnishings and lots of special touches. The sheep visited us both evening and in the morning. Had our food delivered to the lodge. Love the check in and out times.

Luxurious stay in beautiful surroundings with incredible hosts !

Amazing luxurious and extremely comfortable accommodation , finished to high standards .. with the added experience of an amazing free standing bath with most beautiful views over the Ribble Valley . Catherine and Zac are incredibly friendly hosts and a visit to their restaurant next door is a must ! Delicious Mexican and Spanish inspired cuisine . Highly recommend a visit !

Stunning location. Lodge was superb and great hospitality from the hosts.

Only one little niggle was the mattress in the skylark lodge - we could feel the springs however we were only staying 1 night so this did not impact on how much we enjoyed the overall stay. If you were spending a few nights it may be an issue.

Away from the hustle and bustle

Incredible views! So lovely to just exist and stare out into the hills. We ate at the restaurant and the food was fantastic. Great atmosphere and cocktails. Lovely welcoming staff. Our lodge has been beautifully designed, loved the feature bath. We would stay again.

Great way to spoil yourself.....

Skylark lodge was excellent. Superb views and location. Lodge ticked all the boxes and had all the small details and more. Checked in just after 2pm effortlessly to make the most of our day and night. Booked in at the restaurant and had drinks in front of the roaring fire Food and service were excellent. Zak, Catherine and all the staff were also excellent. The accommodation was fully booked and restaurant was busy. Would you stay again Yes

Beautiful place to stay. Stunning views. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The little extras were amazing. They knew we were on our honeymoon and they gave us chocolates and crisp. The bed was so comfy. We will be back . The restaurant food was Devine. I would recommend staying here.

Beautiful place to stay with great walks nearby.

We had a very nice stay at Wellspring Lodges. Modern and clean, with all the facilities needed. Everything looked new. Beautiful views from the lounge, bedroom, and decking area. The living room had a big window with a great view of the hills and sheep. Nice surprise to be left the little extras... Milk, fresh orange juice, coffee, tea, sugar, cookies, and chocolates. The bedroom had a lovely big bath in it. There is also a separate wet room with a shower. The bed was very comfy, with good pillows and quality bedding. New quality hairdryer too. No breakfast is provided; we brought bread, bacon, eggs, and bread. There is a kitchen with all the facilities to make this yourself. Pendle Hill Path is a stone's throw away. Whalley village is also a nice place to visit, 10 minutes drive away, with lots of bars, restaurants, and shops. We ate in the evening in the Mexican restaurant, about 10 metres from the lodge. The food was lovely, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be booking to go again soon.
