Home-like apartment Near DisneyLand

The apartment is within walking distance to the train station (Val d’Europe). It’s one stop to Disneyland or within 30 minutes walking distance to Disneyland (from the apartment). There are several restaurants and shops (including convenient shops very close to the apartment. We grabbed basic stuff (egg, milk, water, iced cubes etc.) from the convenient shops at reasonable prices. There is a shopping centre, Val d’Europe (bigger than the West Quay in Southampton, UK), it’s about 10mins walk from the apartment and has several shops including grocery shops like Lidl etc. and restaurants. The apartment is spacious (one double bedroom and a single bedroom). There is a pull up bed (under the single bed). If you have kids, this would come handy for use. We moved the pull up bed to the double bedroom, it fitted quite nicely and we still had space to move around in the double bedroom. The apartment has a separate toilet and separate bathroom. When we arrived, it was very hot (there are no air conditions) in the property. We requested an extra fan, Souheil (the owner) was able to grab one for us on same day and that was super useful. He promptly attended to a leak issue (from behind the fridge).

There is a 6kg washing machine, all the washing options (with 1200 rpm spins) last a minimum of 2hrs. There was no manual in sight so had to use trial and error approach (and estimated time provided by Google) to gauge how long each cycle took. There are basic cooking utensils for self catering. Having read a previous review prior to arrival, we took extra cooking utensils for use, glad we did. There isn’t a blender, luckily i had ingredients I could just chop in fine portions, that saved the day. The induction hob was initially tricky to operate, there was no manual. The hob operated slightly differently to others I’ve used previously. Eventually I was able to operate it after several tries. There is a microwave oven, it would be great to have instructions on how it operates to save time researching on Google. The floors (in all the rooms) and especially the balcony were unkempt upon arrival, Souheil was made aware of this. I cleaned and tidied the apartment to an appreciable standard and to make myself and my family comfortable during our one week stay.

We liked the comfortable rooms, and the friendly, helpful staff.

Peaceful atmosphere made it a relaxing place to stay.

Location was perfect for our trip to Disneyland and lots of amenities around. The host was very helpful in directing us and answering any enquiries. Also checked in on us during our stay which was very thoughtful.

I can’t think of any bad points
