The Old Shop loft apt in the heart of Kalk Bay

The location is amazing and the flat is beautifully decorated. Loved the fireplace which heats up the whole place.

There could be more lights in the lounge especially for reading.

Excellent apartment ... spacious industrial meets farm house space that is furnished extremely well.. had everything we needed. Quiet location right off the main street so easy to meander down the road.. Has a mediterranean communal courtyard out the back .... basically perfect .. highly highly recommend .. also recommend Salt for dinner and Cape to Cuba for a drink .. crazy good interiors ....

The design and decor

The room downstairs has no windows

The location is super close to all the main Kalk Bay's points - the morning cafe, bakery and coctail bar is just around the corner. The tidal pool is short walk away. The space inside was charming, a bit hip industrial loft vibe, but not in a fake way, but authentic proper old times way. I loved the old school kitchen design and the wiring in metal tubes. The loft has an access to the backyard.

Although the space is cool, but it is not great for longer stays - inside is very dark (just few windows) and at times can get cold on concrete floor. It is a place where you want to get out during the day.
