Lovely art deco place in great neighbourhood

Glorious Art Deco apartment

Such a privilege to stay is such a beautiful Art Deco apartment surrounded by intriguing ornaments and facilities. It was like staying in a museum. There was always staff at reception in the glorious entrance hall. Lots of people were taking photos of the outside of the building from the park opposite. The staff were wonderful - so accommodating and friendly. Highly recommended.

Disappointing stay this time - be careful which property you book before paying! The platform does not let you choose in

The location was great. I booked through the same agency last year and the flat was impeccable. This year I was in for a disappointment which was double whammy as the photos implied it was going to be the same property! Indeed not the case: it was in a different building. A lot more dated, with a strong smell as soon as we entered, sub-standard bathroom and kitchen (even by the standard of an old building). Whilst I appreciate the period charm, some bits were unstable. I raised the smell with the landlord who was defensive about it and not particularly helpful. There was no staff at the property. No one charged towels etc for a week.

Great location and communicative host.

The location was great. The host was quick to respond. The bed was fairly comfortable and we had a good amount of space. The check in process was fairly easy.

We had no hot water one morning. The walls were very thin and you could hear other guests in the apartment as well as people and dogs outside pretty easily/ we were woken up by them the first night.

Centrally located comfort!

The apartment is very centrally located to shops, bars and restaurants all within walking distance. You can easily get to downtown, old town and other neighborhoods from here. The room was large and well appointed and the bed was comfortable!

The beautiful appartment is very well located in the neighbourhood of Roma Norte. It was very clean and comfortable. The hosts are very kind and responsive. Excellent experience and we would definitely rebook the same appartment if coming back to Mexico City.

I was just there for a long 22 hour layover and the price and location were perfect for an overnight

Excellent location right on the Plaza Rio de Janeiro. My flight came in very late and the instructions to get in were very accurate and thorough.

I wanted to leave my bags till 7 pm but was told they could only hold till 5. I understand as they do not have staff after 5 pm.

Great value for money, well located

Beautifully decorated, great terrace and super comfy large bed.

The surrounding noise was quite loud from flats upstairs and cleaners downstairs in the mornings. Also beware of mosquitoes coming in through the bathroom window. But other than that very good value for money and Christian was so helpful with arriving early/leaving late!

Fabulous location, excellent room (3) not facing the road made it a little quieter and very comfortable bed.

The location was perfect for walking around and getting to near by meetings points for some tours. The building is gorgeous and the bed was super comfortable.

My only suggestion would be to provide at least one coffee pod per day per person for the coffee machine. It was a bonus to have the machine, but not worth buying a box of coffee pods to use it as I could only get large boxes.

Beautiful vintage art deco building and apartment. Spacious, great layout, very nice terrace overlooking the park.

Bath tub in second bathroom needs refinishing, not suitable for taking a bath but both showers were fine.

Clean, spacious and comfortable apartment in a great location on Plaza Rio De Janiero in a wonderful neighbourhood

Very clean and comfortable and in a superb location with all the amenities needed to live like a local. The bed size was a big bonus too. Communication and recommendations were top notch too.

A balcony or street facing window would have been great so make sure to choose one of them apartments if this is something required.

The location was great, the room was clean and comfortable.

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We were only there for 13 hours, so we did not spend any time in the room besides sleeping. The location was great; our one goal in our short time frame was to visit a local quesadilla stand, Elana Rojas Vara Quesadillas. She sets up around 10 AM and serves until her ingredients are gone. We arrived at 4 PM, and she was still cooking - she was out of the most popular ingredients (the refried beans are excellent). But she still had potatoes and cheese, which was delicious, too.

Dream escape in one of the most beautiful apartments in Mexico City.

The location of this property is second to none. Glorious views from roof terrace across the neighbouring plaza. Hyge windows let in sunshine and the trees outside afford a level of privacy. It was a dream apartment.

The stairs cannot be changed but potential guests should be mindful if they have mobility concerns.

Amazing, comfortable, chic, affordable

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The location is awesome if you want to stay in Roma Norte. It’s across from the most beautiful park and there are tons of great food and drink options very close by. The room itself was very cute, clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were always very attentive, friendly and helpful. The price point is amazing for what you get. I would 100% recommend to anyone visiting the area and would stay here again.

Nothing! The noise from the park and dogs was a bit loud at times but it really wasn’t a big deal and would be similar in any place. It’s not close to a huge road so the traffic noise is minimal

Gran lugar para alojarse :)

El departamento estuvo genial. Me gustó todo, desde cómo está decorado, lo deco del edificio, la facilidad para entrar, lo detallado de las instrucciones, la cama estuvo suuuper cómoda. El baño tenía todo lo necesario, la cocineta está excelente, tiene refri, microondas, estufa eléctrica, una mesita. La gente con la que interactué de la estancia fue atenta. Está muy tranquilo y muy bien ubicado. Sin duda es una de las opciones que guardaré para volver en el futuro.

Lo único que cambiaría cuando vuelva es no ir con tantas maletas jajaja. (hay que subir escaleras para llegar a los cuartos)

Algunos detalles que mejorarían mucho la estancia: Mejor dotación de instrumentos y menaje de la cocina ( un cazo para servir, una tetera, etc). Algún enchufe más. Que la TV... Permita acceder a la TV y no solo a canales streaming. Detalles. Ah...y que las instrucciones estén también en español. Demasiado pensado para gringos me pareció...! Por último, que las fotos de los apartamentos estén bien identificadas para la elección previa en la página de Booking.

La ubicacion. Nos encanto Roma Norte y la plaza SñRio de Janeiro. Taambien nos gustoucho el estilo retro.

¡Maravilloso departamento. Vista increíble. Ubicación inmejorable. Servicio excelente!

No pudimos encontrar mejor ubicación. El edificio es histórico y el área espectacular. El departamento súper cómodo y limpio. Nos quedamos asombrados con el mobiliario original de la época de 1800 y el ambiente de la Colonia Roma es inigualable: encontramos bares, restaurantes, cafecitos, panaderias, a 5 minutos caminando. Lo recomendamos muy ampliamente.

Me hubiera gustado que las ventanas de las habitaciones tuvieran cortinas o persianas que cubran las luces del parque, porque son muy fuertes y pareciera que es de día. Eso si fue un poco molesto.!
