Lovely being in the centre of town in such a large, homely house.

Lovely house, right in centre of Ludlow. Warm and cosy lounge, spacious kitchen with everything you could need. Beds were very comfy, shower was good. Plenty of space for 6 adults. Nice little courtyard outside area with bbq and seating if the weather is nice. Master bedroom with ensuite was very spacious. And bathroom with shower over the bath served the other three bedrooms which suited us.

Downstairs bedroom didn't have anywhere to put your clothes, no drawers or wardrobe, just a few hooks and hangars on the wall. Had a computer desk and printer which we did not use and would be better replaced with a chest of drawers. Also, there is no car parking at the house so you have a few minutes walk to the nearest car park with all your belongings, not great in the rain and if you are there for a week might have to make a couple of trips. There is a shower over the bath in the bathroom but no non slip mat in the bath so it was a bit slippy when taking a shower.

Lovely property in a central location

On the first night we arrived at the property the house was cold the heating hadn’t been on we did rang but no human to speak to as it was between Christmas and New Year we did speak to someone that evening but no one could come out until the next day but by then the heating hadn’t started working. Another minor thing there are not enough towels only one hand towel between two of us. Apart from the above the location was fantastic and the house was lovely it was very well equipped.

BEWARE - you will not find out about the £300 security deposit until after you have booked.

The hosts have employed a management company that is impossible to contact. They were informed of a feather allergy at booking but did nothing; the lounge was filled with feather pillows. I tried to phone but got an answerphone message telling me to use the Booking.com message system - which they ignore! The security deposit is hidden in very small fine print at the bottom of the page; shady practice. As it is all self check-in/out I don't know how they identify pre-existing damage.

Lovely comfortable house in a great location.

Really nice house, well decorated and furnished. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped. Lovely and warm. The location for the middle of town is perfect and yet still a very peaceful area. Lovely outdoor space, although we didn't use it. Comfy beds and plenty of hot water.

The parking situation isn't ideal but it is a trade-off with the great town centre location. Oddly, the bed in the downstairs bedroom hadn't been made up so we had to move the bedding from one of the twin beds upstairs - not a problem but I'm not sure why this was done. Also, the house was very clean apart from the downstairs loo which didn't look like it had been cleaned at all. Do note that the double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, the description suggests there are 2 bathrooms but doesn't mention ensuite (this may be good or bad for you depending on who is travelling). The (nearby) church bells ring every hour and are very loud.

Great location in town, very quiet back lane, very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, the toaster was amazing.

No parking at the property but public car park was 5 minute walk away and not expensive.
