Hawkshead is a great location, a lively village away from the hubbub. Co-op is open 7am - 10pm with almost everything you need. 3 pubs, a chippy and a large outdoor wear clothing shop!
The Spinners Loft is well kitted out with good quality furnishing and a generous welcome basket.
Comfy sofa and bed and excellent facilities.
This wasn't a problem for us but you should be aware that the stairs leading up to the flat are original so they have a very small tread. The original beams are great but watch your head in the kitchen/lounge area.
