This exquisite, contemporary residence is situated in the charming Lakeland village of Hawkshead. Nestled at the heart of the village, the property offers easy strolls to all local amenities and attractions, from quaint local pubs to delightful shops with local produce. The owners take great pride in the property’s rich heritage intertwined with the legacies of Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth. The nearby treasures of Coniston Water and Lake Windermere are a short drive away, promising delightful opportunities for leisurely boat excursions, aquatic sports, and picturesque hikes along their shores, be it with Windermere Lake Cruises, (10 miles) or the Steam Yacht Gondola, (4.5) miles. For those seeking further adventure, a visit to Grizedale Forest, (2.7 miles) beckons just a few miles south of the village. Here, you can enjoy breathtaking walks, engage in exhilarating Segway experiences, follow an enchanting sculpture trail, and test your limits at the Go-Ape climbing centre.
Entering the property, you are welcomed into the spacious hall, which has an abundance of room for outdoor gear and a useful downstairs bathroom. To the second floor is another great relaxation area to unwind, with a beautiful velux window capturing the stunning views of the fells that surround the property. The master suite exudes style and comfort, located at the top of the house, it offers further stunning views. With expansive beams, vaulted ceilings, a sumptuous velvet bed and a contemporary en-suite bathroom.
