Cosy flat in the heart of Marseille

Recently renovated, with modern decor, including some lovely live plants, this flat has been great for our time in Marseille. Very clean and bright apartment, has a lovely living area and a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher. There is a dining table with chairs too. Bedroom is simple but has outlets on both sides of the bed which is always useful. There is a large shower with both a rainfall shower head as well as a regular one. There is a washing machine in the apartment, which was a huge selling point for a longer stay. The fan provided was working overtime as it was over 30 degrees every day, and proved very useful. The apartment is on a high floor so noise from the street is not a problem. The stairs up to the apartment took some getting used to but were good exercise. The location is very central to both the port, the city centre and the beaches. There are trams running less than 5 minutes away, and the metro station is a short walk away too. There are many restaurants, shops and a few markets within walking distance. The host is absolutely lovely, communication has been excellent and check-in and check-out process was very smooth. I would definitely recommend this apartment for a short or a long stay!
