Positioned within the McLaren Vale Natives nursery complex, this home offers a stay unlike the typical wine country accommodation. Established gardens surround the property, while the nursery remains open to the public during business hours, creating a unique setting where guests can immerse themselves in one of the region’s well-known native plant destinations. A wraparound verandah frames the home and connects seamlessly with the outdoor spaces, while central heating and cooling ensure comfort throughout the year.

At the heart of the home, the open-plan living and dining area is designed for groups to come together after a day exploring McLaren Vale. The leather lounge provides a comfortable place to settle in with a movie, while the large dining table invites shared meals, local wine and conversation. Natural light filters through the home, enhancing the connection to the surrounding gardens.

The gourmet kitchen is equipped for everything from quick breakfasts before winery visits to larger group dinners. A breakfast bar offers casual seating, while the butler’s pantry provides additional preparation space when entertaining. Families travelling with young children can request a high chair and travel cot before arrival. Outside, the verandah and BBQ area extend the living space, while complimentary access to the on-site public mini golf course adds another way to enjoy the grounds.

Four bedrooms are thoughtfully appointed, each with access to the wraparound verandah. The main suite includes a walk-in wardrobe and private ensuite, while the remaining bedrooms are positioned around the home for added flexibility. The main bathroom features both a bathtub and separate shower, alongside a separate toilet. An internal laundry and ample on-site parking add convenience throughout your stay.

During your stay, you and your group will have the entire cottage to yourself. During business hours, guests can also enjoy access to the public mini golf (putt putt) course and browse the plants at McLaren Vale Natives for purchase. Please make yourself at home!

It gives visitors access to more than 80 cellar doors, exceptional award-winning restaurants and a stunning coastline encompassing the Fleurieu Peninsula. Visit iconic producers, Hardys Tintara and d’Arenberg, dine at Maxwell Restaurant and The Currant Shed, and cycle the Shiraz Trail or Coast to Vines Rail Trail. Swim or snorkel at the spectacular cliff-lined Port Willunga and spend a Saturday morning at the Willunga Farmers Markets.
