Tranquilo y céntrico apartamento de playa ALQ 200

The 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment was good value for the week and gave us plenty of space and was in an excellent location very close to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. It is about 8-10 min walk to the train and bus stations. There is a large Mercadona close by and an El Jamon. The kitchen was well equipped, although we only ate breakfast in the apartment so we can't say if it's adequate for preparing meals but there were lots of pots/pans and utensils. There is a full size fridge and freezer which is excellent for storing water, food and drinks. There is also a dishwasher and washing machine but we did not use either so cannot comment on them. The owners supplied a small amount of washing up liquid, 2 dishwasher tablets, and 2 bin bags plus small number of toilet rolls. There is also some hand soap and shower gel in bathrooms and two bath and 2 hand towels per bathroom. We liked the shutters on windows as it made it feel extra secure and made rooms darker for sleeping in. With an easy change in settings of TV you can change the language to suit your needs (a Google search will instruct you).

There was air conditioning in the living room but we did not find it easy to use and it was temperamental, only working in short bursts if you pressed the powerful setting otherwise it did not operate which made the apartment very warm. It would also be good to have a full length mirror and a mirror close to a plug point in the bedrooms for getting ready. The apartment is nice but there is some wear and tear and the sofa has some stains on it, so it could do with a clean.

The location is fantastic

There was a road construction work which lasted the whole first week from morning to evening each day. We were working with laptops during the days while staying on the apartment. I managed to build a work desk to bedroom with the balcony table which worked well except for the constant drilling etc noice just outside the windows. The apartment faces north so there is no sunshine and during winter it is moist
