Wonderful week in Antibes

The apartment is in a great location right in the centre of the old town with restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and shops close by and a 10 minute walk to the beach. Even the land train tour started just around the corner. The apartment was clean, comfortable and relaxing and was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The bed was so comfortable as was the sofa and we loved that we could open the window in the living area and look into the square to watch the world go by. This was our first time in Antibes and it was brilliant. Napawan and Brice are wonderfully attentive and responsive hosts who understand the meaning of hospitality. We hope to return!

Antibe was awesome but this rental I would not go back.

The apartments are aesthetically pleasing looking. And the location is very convenient to old town and all its fun shops.

The beds are absolutely awful, there is only one sheet on the beds. Very cold and not cozy at all. It is very noisy outside the apartment with all the drunk people coming home from the bars. So even though good location, recommend getting a place off the main squares and streets. We were not told there was construction outside of our building, and it started early in the morning and was very loud.

A bit of a nightmare

The location was great. The accommodation was very poor.

The accommodation was very poor. It had been advertised as a “Freshly tastefully renovated apartment” It did not at all match the description and photos. Both the interior and Balcony were dirty. The curtains were old and torn. The settee was covered in stains and the bathroom did not have any ventilation or window covering also the window could not be opened. Also 2 days before our return we were woken early by workmen on the roof!! It completely spoilt our holiday The stairs were very steep and twisted and parts of the bannister were held together by tape!. We feel we were mis- sold this holiday.

Excellent Apartment in great location.

Excellent location, clean and practical apartment. Comfortable and contained all the features you would require. At the centre of daily (and night) life in Place Nationale . Windows have excellent noise reduction when closed so you wouldn’t know so many people were dining outside in the evening. Great access to all shopping requirements and beaches.

Very comfortable and tidy apartments in a great location!

We had 2 apartments for our family including grandparents and both were clean and comfortable. The location was perfect and not too noisy considering we were right on the square. So many amazing choices for places to eat and easy walk to the train. Very good communication with host during the stay - thank you!

We had a pleasant time in Antibes.

Location worked very well for the purpose of our visit. The apartment was clean and comfortable and had all the basics. Loved all the boutique stores, the market, as well, there are a great selection of restaurants within easy reach. Having the grocery store close by was a plus. When we had questions the host responded in a timely manner.

The apartment was clean however the single chair was grubby and needs a cleaning. We didnt want to sit on it because it was dirty. We appreciated the x2 coffee pods, however, we feel the least the host could do is to provide coffee pods for each day of guests stay. That would be a nice touch for your guests. The spiral staircase was difficult to navigate with our luggage. Older guests or someone with mobility issues should not book this property as it is not easy to navigate.

A great place to stay in Antibes

Beautiful location, reasonably priced accommodation. Nearby market is great! Lovely balcony, small and access is tricky, but private and sunny. The apartment is well designed and equipped

Four flights of stairs to climb - and the balcony is accessed by climbing through a window, but worth it when you’re out there!

Great place for an Antibes stay

The property was spacious and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay The location had a positive and a negative aspect. Handy to everything and had a good vibe but noisy at night however we did know about this prior to booking ( from reading previous reviews).

Dangerous building

The location and the hostess who was as helpful as as she could

This is a death trap due to a very steep and windy stairwell inside the door which leads to four separate apartments. . Unfortunately our Apartment No. 4 is where we were put even though we booked months before our arrival.The banister needs to be urgently repaired as it is very unsecure and dangerous. There is a smelly public toilet on the 2nd floor solely for use of a restaurant on the ground floor of the property. There is also a shower inside which is very dangerous and slippery due to the fact that there is no handle attached to hold onto and the water pressure from the bathroom sink is very low at almost a trickle. Otherwise all good and with some money spent these problems could be rectified. At present this building would not pass health and safety standards and we felt that we were subject of false advertising from both the management and Booking.com. If we had known the true situation we would have booked somewhere else.

Excellent stay, great hosts, wonderful location

Excellent central location in the old town. Super apartments and easily walkable to beach, train, tourist info etc.. the apartments are located in the actual main old town square, within which there are many restaurants and outdoor seating. We rented all 4 apartments as a family and they based over 4 floors. On the ground floor is a restaurant (a very nice one with good fillet beef and pizza!).

Within the main entrance of the apartment block and opposite the apartment 1 is a public toilet for the restaurant below the apartments. If you book apartment 4, there are very steep steps, so perhaps not suitable for elderly or anyone with mobility issues. Our teens stayed in apartment 4 and loved it!

The location was perfect overlooking the old town square. The hosts were very friendly and made the booking easy and informative. The apartment was recently renovated and immaculate.

Excellent apartment!

The apartment was clean and bright, everything looked new, the living room and kitchen were comfortable with lots of seating and the bed was really comfortable. The location is fabulous, right on the Place National which was so buzzy and full of cafes and restaurants. We loved sitting in the window and watching the world go by. When you close the windows a lot of the noise is shut out. But we loved being so central in the heart of the old town which is just magical. The owners were extremely communicative and helpful.

Appartement très bien situé au cœur du vieil Antibes, très bon relationnel avec les hôtes, bon agencement et équipements

Prise électrique défaillante et mal fixé câble télé non fixé files visible chaînes tnt manquantes chaleur étouffante dans une des chambres impossible d’y dormir même avec la porte ouverte et la Clim dans le salon un vrai four certainement dû à l’activité du restaurant au rdc le ventilateur était inutile tellement l’air était chaud

Gut, wenn einem Gerüche nichts ausmachen!

Die Lage ist spitze, mitten im Herzen der Altstadt von Antibes. Der Gastgeber Brice kommuniziert sehr schnell und gibt super Empfehlungen.

Das Apartment liegt im 3.Stock eines kleinen Gebäudes mit einem engen Wendeltreppenhaus ohne Lift. Mit großen Koffern ist es selbst für fitte Personen anspruchsvoll zum Apartment zu manövrieren. Das könnte besser kommuniziert werden. Man kann auch nicht mit dem Auto zufahren, da das Gebäude in der Fußgängerzone liegt. Das nächste Parkhaus ist ca. 300m entfernt, das war also nicht so schlimm, könnte aber auch besser kommuniziert werden. Im Erdgeschoss des Gebäudes ist ein Restaurant, und die Gerüche ziehen sich durch das gesamte Gebäude bis ins Apartment. Abgestandener Rauch, Fett, Toiletten, … mit der Klimaanlage und viel Lüften während der Nicht-Öffnungszeiten des Restaurants wurde es etwas besser. Für uns war es trotzdem beinahe unerträglich. Der Gastgeber hat unsere Beschwerde ernstgenommen, konnte uns aber nicht wirklich weiterhelfen und Booking selbst macht gar nichts. Wir haben mehrmals den Kundenservice kontaktiert, ohne Erfolg. Aufgrund der Hochsaison waren auch kaum Alternativen verfügbar. Schlussendlich haben wir die Zeit im Apartment auf das absolute Minimum reduziert, und haben dann für die letzte Nacht ein anderes, teureres Hotel selbst gebucht und sind früher abgereist.

Vent ikke, dette sted er et fund til de penge.

Fantastisk beliggenhed og alt hvad man havde brug for var i lejligheden. Brice var en fantastisk vært, og virkelig hjælpsom og med mange kontakter i byen man kunne benytte sig af. Ikke sidste gang vi kommer tilbage hertil skulle turen gå forbi Antibes igen.

App. Nr. 1: sehr zentral gelegen, gute Raumaufteilung, Küche gut ausgestattet, Waschmaschine vorhanden. Bequemes Bett.

Mit Lärm vom Platz ist abends und auch früh morgens zu rechnen, auch bei geschlossenen Fenstern hört man die Gäste, die Müllabfuhr, Lieferanten etc. Direkt vor dem Appartement befindet sich das Gäste-WC des darunter liegenden Lokals. Zeitweise hört und riecht man das leider auch.
