Perfect farm style retreat just outside Stellenbosch.

Beautiful spacious farmhouse in the winelands. We stayed in the Owl house and actually heard owls at night! Perfect for a big family getaway.

A few small touch ups needed, but everything works!

Quiet getaway

We had a great time at the cottage which was perfectly located and very peaceful. Getting into town was a short drive. The cottage is equipped with everything you need. We especially enjoyed the fireplace in the freezing winter. Comfortable beds!

A beautiful home nestled in Stellies⛰️

The property was beautiful and well looked after. I loved the glass around the patio with the fireplace so you could sit and relax outside even in cold weather. It's close to the centre and has a few gems within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing stay of a great quality!

Beautiful location and lovely host and excellent value for money

Very clean and quiet and no fuss … Brit had muffins and wine and tea and coffee for us on our table when we arrived late in the evening . Lovely steaming hot bath on chilly evenings made all the difference !

Country calm just outside Stellenbosch!

A simply stunning location with the Cottages nestled on a farm in the Jonkershoek Valley surrounded by mountain sentries. We enjoyed waking up to mooing cows and the trill of birds and appreciated the cheerful vases of gerberas throughout the house. A morning run past the picturesque Postcard Cafe was rounded off with a dip in the plunge pool and a cup of coffee on the front porch listening to the wakening farm whilst appreciating the changing morning light on the craggy mountains beyond.

Very hot in the loft at this time of year- grateful for the air-conditioning! Load shedding is part of life in Africa!

Great cottage on a working farm

Lovely cottage with ample space, both inside and outside. On arrival, we were welcomed by a bottle of wine, biscuits, coffee, tea and a BBQ ready to go. There are many places to sit and hang out, both inside (next to a cosy fire place) and outside in a lovely and shady garden. Although, during our 5 nights, we never met anyone, the owner was very responsive via Booking with questions we had. We didn't have a car, which is not really practical for this location, but the more expensive Uber always showed up and the 60Sixty (checkers) does deliver here (even on Christmas day!).

There weren't really things we didn't like... The only thing which was a bit impractical, was that when we left the cottage, we had to put the remote of the front gate in the key locker, but we also needed this remote to open the front gate (as the key-pad is only on the outside of the gate)... As our Uber had already arrived, we had to ask the Uber driver to put in the code, so we could get out.

Einiges in dem Cottage war in Ordnung, Bad schlecht + 2. Schlafzimmer war NUR für Kinder

Die Lage, der Garten, die recht gut eingerichtete Küche, die Terrasse.

Das Badezimmer mit sämtliche Einrichtungen war unterirdisch. So etwas habe ich bei Booking.com noch NIE erlebt. Alles war schmuddelig, sehr in die Jahre gekommen, völlig abgewohnt, der Heizstrahler ca 50 Jahre alt, die Toilette, so dass ich lange überlegte, ob man sich darauf setzen kann ohne krank zu werden, die Dusche war in der Badewanne, trotz Trennscheibe sorgte man dafür, dass das komplette Bad unter Wasser stand, dadurch, dass es nur eine Regendusche gab, konnte man die Badewanne nicht reinigen. Das Waschbecken war mini....... Die Wasserarmaturen waren nicht fest montiert Wir haben für 3 Erwachsene gebucht. Das 2. Schlafzimmer war eindeutig ein Kinderschlafzimmer
