Residence Androsace

Keys are only a few mins away and very easy to collect and drop off. The kitchen has everything you need, there was even a bottle of wine on arrival which didn't last long! Gorgeous mountain views from the balcony. The area is a 5ish min drive from the centre of Chamonix. There's a few bars/restaurants a little further up the road but in general a quieter area, which we didn't mind. There's a bus stop and train very close to the property.

Compact, quiet with essential facilities and wonderful views. Close to awesome bakery & supermarket, as well as the train station

Limited parking.

Spacious, comfortable and well equipped apartment with great views from the balcony. There is a bedroom with a double bed, plus two single beds at the top of the stairs (mind your head as the wooden beams are quite low) and also the sofa coverts into a double bed as well.

Nothing I didn't like. The only thing I would point out is that in the main bedroom I noticed a low pitched humming sound. To the side of the bed is a wooden shelve box with a lamp on it. When I looked under the shelve I could see a water pipe and this is where the sound was coming from (see photo). It can also be heard to a lesser degree in the bathroom. I'm a light sleeper and found it a little difficult to sleep. I slept the next night upstairs which was fine, but then discovered the sofa in the lounge converted into a double bed and the bed sheet and duvet from the single bed fitted it perfectly, so I slept in the lounge from then on. Quite comfortable and the humming sound could hardly be heard.
