Cockroach-infested, filthy apartment with an aggressive, unprofessional host — no refund received!
Nothing.
This was an extremely unpleasant experience from start to finish! — from a hostel-like, unhygienic apartment to discovering a cockroach infestation. The host knew exactly when we were arriving yet left us waiting outside in the cold for over half an hour, and the flat itself was rundown and dirty, with black handprints and footprints on the walls, a shoddy kitchen, a hob that didn’t work, no couch, and a balcony that was held together with zip ties and falling apart. Despite raising issues throughout the stay, the host was mostly unresponsive (saying it was a “holiday weekend”), and when he eventually came he was rude, unhelpful, and didn’t know how to fix anything — I even had to fix the Wi-Fi myself. We only discovered the COCKROACHES on the second and last day, in both the kitchen and bathroom (the apartment is on the FIFTH floor!), even the neighbours acknowledged the apartment is known to be rundown.
When I requested a refund with full, timestamped photo and video evidence, the host became aggressive and irrational, refusing any responsibility and even trying to blame us. Booking.com then told me they “cannot refund without the host’s authorisation,” which is a deeply worrying policy in a case involving clear hygiene risks and an unprofessional, confrontational host. The entire experience — both the uncomfortable annd unhygienic apartment and the stressful, hostile behaviour of the host — has been unacceptable, and it is shocking that this property is still listed and that I still haven’t received a full refund. I strongly warn others to avoid it at all costs!

Noi abbiamo soggiornato per un evento sportivo al forum di Biella e abbiamo trovato un'ottima vicinanza. Appartamento pulito spazioso e confortevole. Anche se al quinto piano c'è l'ascensore e nelle vicinanze c'è sempre parcheggio.

Nos quedamos aqui con mi pareja y un amigo. El departamento es sencillo, pero còmodo. Era lo que nosotros necesitàbamos para nuestra estadìa en Biella. Todo muy limpio. El anfitriòn muy amable y hasta tuvo la amabilidad de avisarnos de una prenda que nos habìamos olvidado y pudimos recogerla por la zona donde èl se encontraba, incluso siendo un domingo. Lo recomendamos!!
