Carter Lake Valley Home

313 McColm is truly special. We could not have asked for a better relocation layover than this country cabin, lovingly and beautifully updated by the owners. The location is remote and cell service is limited to none, but the Wi-Fi was sufficient for two remote workers, as was the work space. Additionally, once you walk and enjoy the activities around Carter Lake, the location feels like a lottery win. The bucolic setting and spacious, dog-friendly fenced yard are ideal for mornings and evenings on one of the four patios, where you can soak in the fresh air, cloudscapes, wildlife and various farm animals. It’s a bit of a drive to the closest dining and shopping, so plan shopping and outings accordingly. Lots of storage room for stocking up on groceries and for lots of luggage. The home is outfitted with all the modern conveniences (a smart tv in every room and Google smart speakers). Comfortable beds and linens, very clean house, beautiful landscaping and location. Our time there felt much too brief. We hope to make it back for a future stay, but in the meantime, we highly recommend it to any fellow travelers (especially those with pups) looking for longer term accommodations in Larimer County.
