Fantastic warm comfortable home. Spacious with great views and walking distance of lovely food outlets for breakfast and dinner. Nice little craft shops and hubs. Lovely friendly people. Great for dog walks and easy access to tourist locations and shops.

Perfect little gem

What a beautiful little gem this is. The location is fabulous, right in the water front with amazing views. The house was well equipped and as a group of 6 adults accommodated us perfectly. The house was spotless and the little additional welcome treat was a little bonus. Everything we needed was available and we felt like it was a home away from home. The location is close to town, restaurants and bars as well as a perfect spot for the weekly Sunday market, everything is accessible by foot. The home has a spot for one car on the front and overnight parking in the carpark using a permit but there is plenty of street parking a few hundred yards down the road. We had no issues and we had 3 cars. We had a fantastic weekend and would definitely book again. ☺️☺️☺️

Great holiday home for a weekend with friends

The location was great, overlooking the beach and a nice 5-minute stroll to the harbour and main street. There are lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance serving a variety of food. Nicely situated for exploring the local area with lots to do nearby. The house is beautifully presented and very clean. There are lots of facilities in the kitchen. Good quality furnishings, towels, and linens. The hot tub was a nice touch and very welcome after a busy day exploring. The welcome basket of treats was very appreciated by all. Thank you, Maria, for a lovely stay.

It’s a great house very comfortable

Lovely house, nice sea view. Roomy and clean. Comfy sofa and beds etc. Plenty towels and well stocked kitchen etc. all round a great base for exploring Northumberland. Lovely nature reserves close by area has plenty of wildlife. Boat from harbour goes out to coquet island great for bird watching.

Amble itself wasn’t really for us. It’s much bigger than we expected. Not great beach for dog ( closed to dogs 1 May - end Sept) although we did find good beaches 5. - 10 min drive.

Lovely cottage with great views and location!

It was lovely & clean and had everything that you need. We especially liked the hot tub it was lovely to use it after a long walk and to relax.

Stunning cottage with amazing views, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Hot tub was an added bonus. Altogether loved our Christmas at Iona cottage.
