The property is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you would need. Great location in a pretty harbour village. Fantastic welcome pack from the owners. Would highly recommend this holiday stay.

We had a fantastic long weekend at Dexter's Den which is a terrific older end terraced house which has been fully refurbished & modernised. Elaine is a fantastic host providing great communication at all times offering a perfect check in/out and general information pack by email. The house was spotless and exactly as described. They also provided a very thoughtful welcome pack of local produce. The location is also perfect for the harbour, markets, local restaurants, takeaways & shops. We ate in Old Boathouse which was lovely but definitely pricey & Rossini's Italian which was decent. Wouldn't hesitate to either stay here again or in another of Elaine's properties. Many thanks.

Dexters Den is situated in a perfect location, a very short walk from the harbour and the local amenities and close to amazing places to eat. The house is beautifully decorated, very clean and has everything thing you could need to cook, clean, entertain and relax. We will definitely be returning!!!

Fantastic property, perfectly located in Amble. Well situated for the harbour, the many restaurants and for grabbing the odd bit of food shopping you may need. The house was spotless and lovely to return to after a day exploring the region. The excellent hamper of local goodies was a very welcome.

The cottage is wonderful -- spacious, very clean, well-appointed. The location is great for traveling around the Northumberland Coast. Amble has some nice restaurants. We highly recommend the walk to Warkworth Castle. Note: the kitchen did not have any basic supplies (salt & pepper, olive oil, etc) so you will need to supply all of that.

Stayed at Dexters Den with 4 adults and an 18 month old toddler for 5 nights. The house was really clean, comfortable, well equiped and ideally located in the centre of Amble just a few minutes walk from shops, pubs and restaurants. Would recommend the pies from the local butcher and the ice cream from the shop just across the road!

Fantastic property which was decorated and furnished to an extremely high standard. Excellent positioning in Amble …. very close to pubs, restaurants and the harbour. Would definitely recommend staying here as it was home from home.

Wow what a house!!

Wow what a house!!

Stayed here with 4 adults and 2 small dogs for 5 days and we LOVED it, we did not want to go home! The house is amazing, the new extension is superb and all the fixtures and fittings are of such high standard. We loved everything was locally sourced and you were told where to purchase it for yourself. Location is perfect, we had 2 cars and no issues with finding a parking spaces right outside. The Dogs loved the huge grass hill behind for a run around and the secure garden to relax in. The welcome hamper for humans and dogs was so thoughtful and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. We can’t wait to come back!!! If you are considering please book you will not be disappointed!

From the very start of the booking right the way through to arrival and departure we were kept informed if property details and expectations. Elaine was a pleasure to deal with. Dexters den is an outstanding property, very well equipped and lots of gorgeous little finishing touches, we certainly enjoyed all of the finer details that has been placed throughout this property. We loved how the hosts have used local trades/businesses throughout the property, we even indulged I some to bring home with us.Upon arrival we were greeted with two welcome boxes, one for us and another for our 4 legged fur baby - these certainly went down a treat with all. The property itself is spacious, clean a super comfy beds, we can't wait to see the end results when all renovations are complete. Dexters has prime location in the town which made visits to Radcliffes and Spurellis very easy. Walks to the beach is only a stones throw away as are the many restaurants dotted around the town. Thank you again Dexters Den xx

Little gem

Excellent property, beautiful decor everything you need at hand. The fluffiest towels we be ever used, the lovely little touch of welcome packs for humans and fur baby was so special. Based near a lovely little town and marina with lots of restaurants and dog friendly too. Lots of communication and support from elaine the owner what a thoughtful lady, would definitely recommend.
