Wonderful property - clean spacious and well equipped - couldn't fault it.

What a find! We were looking for somewhere to base ourselves for a few days in Northumberland and came across Kindly Light Cottage. The property was very clean, well decorated and well equipped - with milk in the fridge ready for us and a hamper of local products. Our host was friendly and knowledgeable and dropped by to check we were OK. The property is deceptively large with a front room with a log burner, dining room and galley kitchen. Upstairs three bedrooms and a bathroom with a great shower. Parking was a bit of an adventure - you definitely cannot park a large car outside the property - and if you drive down to it you may be reversing back, but there was plenty of parking no more than 50 meters away.

The hosts provided a beautiful, clean and comfortable house complete with a welcome pack and logs for the fire. We could not have asked for anything more.

Lovely cosy holiday house

Home from home holiday house with a warm and welcoming feeling. Super house, all rooms very inviting, the beds are comfy and cosy. The location was in a quiet street which is perfect for a quiet family getaway. Little extras like milk in the fridge make the difference when you just want to get the kettle on once you arrive. A great house, super clean and very comfortable with an attentive host for any questions.

Nothing really but a few more cups/saucepans/pots for the kitchen but honestly it was a small issue.

A great place to stay in Amble

This was our second stay. The house was very comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. There were many nice touches, such as motion sensor lighting and charming and themed ornaments. The decor throughout was fresh and clean. The living room was very comfortable, with two settees & TV with access to many channels and we were able to login to Netflix and Disney. The kitchen was fully furnished with modern white goods. Clare had provided milk, coffee, tea, preserves and snacks. The three bedrooms were large and very comfortable, with nice quilts and bed linen. Two had TVs. The bathroom was immaculate with a good shower. The location was a short walk from the Main Street, Tesco & the Coop. We were able to park at the end of the narrow street that the house is in. Large communicated really well & access was via a lockbox.

Very clean and up to date with kitchen appliances and tvs Quiet. Light. Good outside seating area. Good Welcome Pack The host cane round the first eve to check that all was ok

Parking is tricky. Needs hooks etc in the kitchen area. Not really suitable for 6 people with one bathroom

Excellent place to stay, very welcoming and comfortable.

Spacious cottage with homely touches. Gift basket full of essentials was lovely! Fire made the front room cosy and bedrooms were extremely clean and comfortable.

Parking is a bit restricted out the front but this was explained to us before hand so managed to find space on a road fairly close.

Exceptional cottage, warm and cosy, very well equipped, comfy beds and good sized bath towels. The welcome hamper was an extra treat. The owner was lovely and very helpful. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great for our overnight stay

Beautiful property, great location just minutes walk from the heart of Amble. Even though we were only there for one night, the little touches of the welcome pack, milk etc and dog biscuits were a lovely little touch.

Beautiful cottage , fantastic weekend

The cottage had a lovely vibe, very comfortable and well set out. A lovely outdoor space at the back was a sun trap. There was a lovely welcome pack and lots of little extras making it extremely welcoming and cosy. The owners contacted us to let us know about local things going on during our stay which was great and answered immediately if contacted. The cottage was ideally placed to walk into Amble and to visit surrounding places

Delightful cottage

So beautifully clean infact the cleanest place we have stayed in. Very quiet road so we were woken by birds not traffic. The back yard is delightful with plants and lovely seating, very safe for children. Really lovely to have treats left for us and milk in the fridge. We had family from New Zealand with us and they too were very impressed at the cleanliness. Will definitely visit again.

Cosy home from home stay.

Everything!! Our stay was great! from the little things , rose lemonade biccys and fudge! To the lovey clean linen and towels. Also great to have a smart telly! As winter nights good to be able to put Netflix on! Cosy with the log burner and home touches! And the location perfect. Will definitely stay again! Thank you, Brilliant Hosts 😊
