The location is amazing. The apartment is very spacious. The kitchen is well equipped and we had a lovely bottle of wine in our welcome pack. We used the washing machine and dishwasher and both worked really well. Good instructions on how to use everything and recommended places to eat and visit. The owners have really thought about making life easy for their guests.

The blinds on the front windows did not work. There is no door on the en suite bathroom.

The apartment is big and really spacious. We felt like home. Good place for a family vacation, close to transportation to all the visiting sites and close to many shopping stores of all kind. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing a light dinner and for having breakfast. There is also a washing machine but we couldn't find cleaning powder so I guess it was not to be used. The check-in was easy and location is fairly close to the airport(15-20 minutes by taxi, 30 min by bus). We had a very nice stay and the host(BnB) was always available on WhatsApp for our few requests/questions, except for one.

There is no heating of the apartment except for AC and the apartment was a bit cold every evening when we returned from the city. The 500 Euro deposit is a condition which would make me not take this type of property again. Adding the card details again on another site after adding it on booking for the payment made me uncomfortable. The deposit was released quite fast though. The rules and request on what to do on check-out were making us feel like we should clean the entire apartment before leaving and this is not what I want to do on a vacation.

This property has an amazing view and is brilliantly located to catch the ferry across to Valetta (or the gondola). It’s above some lovely bars and restaurants too. All in all, great location. The layout of the apartment is also spacious.

One of our group got a lot of insect bites which have subsequently been identified as bed bug bites. We raised this with the owners who told us they’ve not had complaints before and the cleaning team have checked however we have been through the timeline and the bites were definitely made during our time there which is unfortunate but accurate.
