About this house rental
Our vacation homes:
Our unique vacation complex—each rated 4 stars by the German Tourism Association (DTV) and offering a view of Breuberg Castle—is located in a former farmstead dating back to 1801. It consists of a traditionally built half-timbered house and a sandstone barn.
Various light installations by artist Günter Vest, combined with the tastefully furnished interiors and fire pits in both houses, create a special atmosphere.
A fenced-in garden along the stream, with mature trees covering approximately 1,800 m², offers plenty of space to dream and relax.
Parking spaces and barbecue facilities are available. Beverages from our own production can be purchased. Pets are welcome by arrangement.
Günts Lichthaus:
The half-timbered house, Günts Lichthaus, offers space for 2+3 people on approximately 80 m². It features a high-quality kitchen with granite countertops. A microwave, stove, sink, and dishwasher are provided, as well as a fridge-freezer. The living room with a dining area is open to the kitchen. On the old wooden floorboards, you’ll find a fold-out couch, a cozy armchair, a fireplace, Wi-Fi, and an LED satellite TV. A staircase, lovingly renovated with old tiles, leads to the bedrooms and bathroom, which are spread over two floors. From the first-floor bedroom with a double bed (1.80 m), you enter the adjacent natural-light bathroom with a sink, toilet, and a bathtub with a showerhead. The second bedroom (1.80 m) is located under the roof.
Surroundings:
The 850-year-old Breuberg Castle, visible from afar, dominates the landscape. Below the castle grounds lie our vineyards and our rock cellar dating from 1840. At the foot of the Breuberg lies the Neustadt district with its lovingly restored half-timbered houses. The wooden cross—unique in Germany—bearing the symbols of market peace and market jurisdiction bears witness to centuries-old tradition.
In every district, you’ll find unspoiled nature, relaxation, and opportunities for exercise. A well-marked hiking network winds through forests and fields. With two signposted mountain bike trails, Breuberg is connected to the Geopark network. The Mümling Valley Bike Path takes you all the way to the Main River. Let yourself be inspired by the “Art Along the Bike Path” and stop by the Breuberg-Aue Sculpture Park. Adventurous visitors can take on the challenge of the Starkenburg via ferrata, a former sandstone quarry near Hainstadt.
Breuberg lies at an elevation of 137–306 meters above sea level and includes the districts of Hainstadt mi, Neustadt, Rai-Breitenbach, Sandbach, and Wald-Amorbach.
