Home to Gilboa’s Fossil Museum and a short drive to scenic Belleayre, Windham, and Hunter mountains, this ideal secluded oasis sits on 5 acres of gorgeous landscape with a babbling brook. Nearby attractions include Minekill Falls and the Pakatakan Farmer’s Market. Look no further for adventure in serenity, we would love to host your next escape to the mountains.
Two floor cottage home with 4 bedrooms, fitted for families or anyone looking for a secluded oasis. Well-stocked kitchen, bathroom, screened porch with fire pit and super cozy rooms, and plenty of board games for our guests to enjoy a home away from home. Plenty of indoor and outdoor lounging areas by the stream, fireside, or with scenic views of the mountains. Guests have access to the whole house including 4 full bedrooms, (1 king bed, 2 queen beds, 1 bunk bed, 1 sofa bed) 2 full bathrooms, kitchen, dining areas, living room, work space, balcony, screened porch, outdoor patios, outdoor seating areas, and stream access.
Basement and garage are restricted for guests.
Leave your plastic bottles at home, we have a 7-stage Reverse Osmosis water filter installed at the sink for easy refill. Enjoy classic vinyls or bring your own to listen on the record player while you cozy up by the decorative fireplace. Get busy with our wide selection of board games to kick off a night in the woods. Recline and watch your favorite shows or catch a nostalgic film in the living area. Warm up in the screened porch next to the thermal heater or propane fireplace and listen to the stream. Look up to the Milky Way and watch out for shooting stars on a clear night! Cross the stream through the little bridge and kick back and relax on the hammock. Take a walk all throughout our five acres and don’t forget to leave a five-star review!

It was a lovely property with really great hosts. We loved the outdoor inclusions of the swing and fire pit. Having small children, the fact that they had toys and games inside of the house was a bonus as we were able to keep everybody entertained.

A wide open space with a serene creek outside and a comfortable relaxing space inside with plenty for the kids and adults to do. We loved taking advantage of the screened in porch and listening to the vinyl on the record player.

This beautiful chalet is lovely and situated next to a stream and woods which make it ideal for R&R'ing or exploring the points of interest in neighboring towns. Anika was responsive to our questions and has anticipated every need in decorating and stocking her home. Staying here was a real treat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this perfect Catskills cabin with another family for a winter ski trip! The beds were super comfortable, the home came equipped with everything you might need (nice towels, extra pillows and blankets). All of the bedrooms were a good size and the open concept common living space was cozy but had plenty of room for us to all hang out together. We enjoyed the record player and records and the large table for meals and playing games. The home is centrally located to many Catskills attractions and activities and is only a 20 minute ride to Plattekill Mountain! Thabk you for a wonderful stay, we will be back!
