About this house rental
Stay a night in Roxbury (Maybe more) surrounded by nature, With large evergreen trees hugging the property, an unforgettable entrance to the home, and explore the wildland (Our Privately own) past the trees to get to the river.
Private enough to get away from the craziness of everyday life but centrally located to enjoy everything the Catskills has to offer.
10 to 40 min drive to Plattekill, Belleayre, Hunter, and Windham (yes, in that order) Where you can enjoy Skiing, Snowboarding, and tubing in the winter. Music concerts, Festivals, Mountain biking, Hiking, Chairlift rides, zip lining, Farms, and much more all year round.
15 Min drive and under to get to all wedding venues- Roxbury Barn, Stone Tavern farm, The Inn at west settlement, and the barn at headwaters.
From the front door, you walk into the zen room with a low profile design to keep you grounded, center yourself in the center of the home. We designed this room to enjoy each others time, getaway from our devices/television, maybe play a board game or two. From one side of the zen room you will walk into our large kitchen with a small eating area and from the opposite side, you will walk into our entertainment room with a large white sofa enough to seat all guest equipt with surround sound and a 55' 4k Tv. In this room, we also have a standard dining table. Walk upstairs to three large bedrooms, Bathroom located on both floors and a half bath in the master.

*We have two dogs and a cat who lives on this property when guest are not here, we welcome all pets as long as you are pre-approved and responsible. We ask our guest with pets and children to please be mindful of the electronics (Throughout the house) and white sofa in the entertainment room. We do not allow our pets on any furniture and ask that if you bring your fur baby to not let them on the furniture (Beds/Sofa) as well. Beds provided are new technology memory foam and can completely damage with any nick (Ex:Dog/cat nails). We ask all of our guest to treat our home like their own.

It appears the original house is the center section with a later addition on the left & right with floor level changes, on the 2nd fl there is about a 12" step into the Master right at the top of the stairs. Watch your step because there are areas on the second floor where the same floor used on the higher floor is use on the lower floor making for a blind step down. No hand towels in the master bath, used a towel from the center bedroom, when I picked it up is was still pretty damp. Old food left in refrig and freezer. There is a coffee pot but no filters, trash can in kitchen but no bags, and no paper towels.
When you enter the front vestibule you're greeted by a sign that asks you to remove your shoes before you enter the house, but there is no bench or anything to sit on when coming back out and putting your shoes back on, and the vestibule has no light in it. There were no instruction when we got there, had to go into town for a WiFi connection to contact the renter for WiFi PW. This was our first rental, maybe this is standard, but it was just not what we expected.
