appartement dans immeuble très spacieux, neuf, tout confort avec belle vue collines et mer. belle terrasse salon et chambre. parking souterrain. Rue commerces à 2 minutes à pied pour prendre un petit déjeuner en terrasse. Routes d'accès à coté pour rejoindre funchal centre et autres routes.

New, bright and big apartment with 2 bathrooms. Plenty of space for the family. Quiet place. Comfortable mattresses what is unique in renting apartments. Own parking spot in garage. Ocean view from the terrace and private swimming pool. Walking distance to great restaurants and coffee shops.

Small adjustments would be welcome like coffee capsules or hangers in the entrance.

Sehr schöne Wohnung. Es war sehr schön, dass die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet war und Dinge, wie Frischhaltefolie, Mülltüten, Spültücher etc vorhanden waren. Wir wurden sehr gut betreut. Toll war, dass es auch eine Waschmaschine gab.

Eigentlich alles hervorragend. 2 kleine Dinge hätten es noch perfekter gemacht: 1. Küche: Messer hätten schärfer sein können und 2. es war am Pool (Baustelle auf der anderen Straßenseite) manchmal laut. Aber wir waren die meiate Zeit unterwegs und daher nicht schlimm. Und da die Wohnung nach hinten raus ist, bekommt man in der Wohnung und auf dem Balkon von der Baustelle gar nichts mit. Das sind aber nur Kleinigkeiten. Die Wohnung ist hervorragend!

The apartment is lovely, good quality fixtures and fittings, spacious and clean. Its a quiet area, although the main coast road is nearby. Lovely sea views out to the Desertas Islands. There are two pools, one for adults and one that allows kids. The apartment is kitted out with all the basic things you need in terms of kitchen, towels, basic toiletries and cleaning products. We did cook in a lot and could have done with with a few more bits of cutlery, salad bowl, place mats etc but everything we really needed was there. Location is good for exploring the island if you hire a car (be prepared for tight parking spaces, poor lane discipline and steep roads) or buses are a 2 minute walk away (13 & 9 are good for the city centre). We walked into Funchal (20-30 minutes easy walk) and took taxis back (~6-12 Euro). There are a few shops just down the street (minimarket, fruit/veg/meat/cheese, tobacconist) and a fab cafe/bakery. There is a grill restaurant down by the football stadium but we didn't get around to trying it. There's a big Continente supermarket nearby but not walkable unless you've got good legs as its a steep climb up to it (~950 m, 2 min drive, 15 minute walk).

Not much really. Nothing that bothered us enough to make it an issue. I would say, the mattresses are definitely firm (orthapedic type) so bare that in mind you like a softer bed.
