The property was clean and very easy to check in. Rooms are very spacious and the view is absolutely gorgeous. Located in a good area close to essentials and city centre. The walk down the hill is easy to the centre however up hill is a little struggle. Easy road access for taxis and local bus stops available. Complimentary check out offered for midday (subject to other guests). Hosts are responsive when contacted however recommend calling them rather messaging.

Prior to my visit to the island, I did request an earlier check in time as I was travelling with an infant however was told on the day that I could only check in for 4pm! Landed in Madeira just before midday so it wasn’t pleasant waiting. They did however offer me a complimentary checkout for midday which helped with my return. Their mandatory checkout time is stated for 10am however I think a 4pm check in isn’t the best. We experienced issues with the water upon arrival which was a little frustrating as we had cold water for approx 2 days. We were able to speak to the hosts who were responsive however it did result in us having to turn off and on the boiler throughout our stay. The water would eventually heat however with less than 3 mins it would go very cold! Eventually we got used to showering extremely quickly or just waiting a couple of mins for the water to heat up again.. some days the water would heat for longer and others extremely short! Overall our showers were rushed. Reported an iron issue as I was concerned of the damage, burnt smell and leakage of water and did not hear back of this. Even shared images of my concerns with the host. Sadly you can hear the lift from both bedrooms as someone calls it during the night and early hours in the morning. At first we thought it was a hoover but it was the lift as this is situated next to the property - it’s a little disturbing- especially at night. The latest we ever heard the lift was around 1am and the earliest around 5am. TV is very slow! When navigating, the TV takes longer than usual to turn on, flick between channels or browse on Netflix and YouTube. Not sure if it’s a WiFi related issue but the connection from the remote and TV is extremely slow and truthfully frustrating. There are many dogs in the neighbourhood which barked a lot. On some days, you’d hearing excessive barking throughout the day as some owners leave their dogs on the balconies as they go to work.

Apartamento muito espaçoso e com linda vista. Boas camas. . Perto existe uma ótima padaria chamada Sésamo na rua abaixo ( das Virtudes).

Tem algumas coisas a resolver. Quartos sem black-out. Chuveiro social temperamental ( começa banho quente e no meio esfria). Quando chegamos foi difícil localizar o prédio.

Les vues, le parking, la zone, l’appartement totalement équipé.

my experience in this apartment helped to correct many shortcomings at the cost of our comfort and nerves, everything that I described has already been corrected except for the impression of the stay: - there was a feeling of unsafety due to short circuit problems in the electrical panel during the stay; - on the very first evening when we wanted to spend time in front of the TV it turned out that it was damaged, the matrix was cracked, there was no image, only sound; - the microwave makes terrible noises when working, it needs to be replaced a long time ago; - the guest book indicated a different parking space number than in the instructions sent via chat, which is why we were woken up early in the morning by the angry owner of the parking space with a demand to move the car;
