Mara Oldcity Hotel

I stay here every time I'm in Istanbul! The location couldn't get any better. It's very well connected to public transportation: short walk away from Eminonu Bus stop and Ferry Terminal, Sirkeci Train Station, Gulhane Tram Station. Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Sultaniye Mosque, Egyptian Market, Grand Bazaar are all a short walk away. The neighborhood is packed with restaurants. The staff take very good care of guests. I felt very welcome and enjoyed my conversations at the front desk. I got some excellent recommendations about food, safety and places to visit. They let me store my luggage for a couple of weeks. I look forward to staying here again.

Amazing location — the hotel is right in the heart of historic Istanbul. You step outside and you are literally a minute away from the main sights, cafés, restaurants and everything you need. The room was very clean, cozy and comfortable, and the value for money was excellent. A special thank you to the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful from the moment I arrived. They gave me great recommendations on where to go, what to see and where to eat, and were always happy to help with any request. I especially appreciated how they handled an unexpected situation on the evening before my departure. There was a power outage in the area, which was completely outside the hotel’s control, and my room had no electricity. As I needed to pack for my trip, the staff immediately understood the situation and moved me to another room where there was power. I really appreciated how caring and understanding they were. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

房间干净，设施现代，地理位置优越，去奥斯曼区主要景点，欧洲区和亚洲区都极其方便！住宿期间清洁员不慎把房间里放纪念品的牛皮纸袋里当作垃圾扔掉了…酒店高效处理，对损失进行了所有赔偿，还给我们购买了茶和面包以致歉意。Mara酒店的住宿体验是伊斯坦布尔之行美好回忆重要的一部分！
