Sky View Camp

The staff were very attentive and always available to help. We had a wonderful desert experience — they took us to watch the sunset and gave us the freedom to enjoy it at our own pace. Dinner and breakfast were also very good.

The room was quite hot, as the air conditioning is only turned on around dinnertime. However, this is likely more of an issue during the summer months.

Excellent staff, camel and quad bike tours were really good and well organised. Good food and even though we were the only guests in the whole camp, evening entertainment was still provided. Night sky views to die for. Highly recomended. Huge positive experience.

None. It is hot during day but if you like the colder temperatures, head off to the North pole and not here :)

Nice staff, picked us up at the meeting point, very friendly. The room/tent was spacious an really pretty. Food was good.

What was really disapppointing though were all the lights. We went there because we were looking forward to stargazing and chose the camp because of the glass front/roof but directly in front of us the other camp had many lights and even one really big neon light which was on the whole night and led to a disappointing light pollution. Also just be aware you are not directly in between the dunes - which is actually logical if you think about it - but there is camp after camp which lowers the experience immensly. We stayed in a Riad in Hassilabied the next day, which was stunning and beautiful and the same distance from the dunes with more privacy and less light pollution - you could do that as well. Also to mention if you stay only one night - check in is around 5pm and check out was 9.30am.
