Friendly staff - Mohammed was great, delicious food and a wonderful tour on camels and a SUV ride through the dunes. Would recommend!

The accomodation is really unique and comfortably”e - for sure a highlight of our stay. We also enjoyed the Berber hospitality which was always kind and generous.

I expected that this property would be a little more ‘isolated’ but there were camps close by. We enjoyed our sunrise camel ride but just be aware that to see the ‘big dunes’ you need to use buggy’s!

We stayed at Sunrise Sahara Camp for two nights with a group of five friends during our road trip through Morocco, and it was without a doubt one of the absolute highlights of our entire trip! The camp itself is beautiful, cosy and very thoughtfully decorated. You have all the comfort you need while being surrounded by endless sand dunes, which makes the whole experience feel truly magical. What made our stay even more special was the amazing team. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, helpful and fun. Even before our arrival, we received lovely and welcoming messages with very clear information, so everything felt perfectly organised from the start. Special thanks to Mohamed, Younisse, Ibrahim and Omar, you really made our stay unforgettable! On our first day, we were picked up by jeep after safely parking our car, and the fun atmosphere started from the very first minute. We then continued by camel through the desert to the camp, where we were welcomed with a drink around the campfire. Such a special way to arrive! Every evening we enjoyed a delicious and very generous traditional Moroccan dinner, with soup, salads, tagine, meat dishes and dessert. Afterwards, everyone gathered around the campfire for live music. We had the opportunity to learn more about Berber culture and local life and spent the evenings chatting, laughing and socialising with the team. It felt very warm, authentic and personal. The next day, we did a 4x4 tour through the region, including a visit to local nomads, which was a unique and very interesting experience. We also went sandboarding, which was so much fun! Everything was perfectly organised, while the team remained incredibly flexible. Whatever we needed, we only had to ask and they were immediately happy to help. Our stay exceeded all our expectations. The incredible location, the activities, the delicious food and, most importantly, the wonderful people made this an experience we will never forget.

Honestly, nothing! Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. Everything exceeded our expectations and we would happily come back!

The staff was truly amazing and welcoming. The music at night was great and it was great to say how the staff made sure everyone was invovled whether that be dancing or trying to play their instruments.
