Very clean, tidy and very kind staff

Love this place. Extended my stay then came back again. This is a small intimate hostel. Good location on the main road at Long Beach. Quiet, clean, very nice manager. Small kitchen area with choices of instant coffee, water and biscuits. Fridge access. Blow- dryer and various toiletries on offer in the bathroom area. In the bed area, curtains, plugs, light and a good sized shelf.

The only thing I saw was that the dorm beds with windows did not have window coverings. So early morning light would be shining in.

The owner is lovely, and the hostel is affordable and good for one or two nights' stay. I liked the location.

I personally like more clean and spacious accommodations. There was no room for backpacks. I had to take it to the bed with me. However, the beds were spacious. Also, toilets and showers weren't very clean. However, like I said, it's a good value for the cheap price!

Cleanliness - it’s only been open for some months, so the rooms and beds have high standard and are very, very clean. Bunk beds - are super comfy with nice pillows and duvets, have shelves with plenty of space for your things, electricity sockets, curtains for privacy, individual lights, hangers and safety boxes for your valuables. I had my best sleeps in a long time! They are also much taller than normal so you don’t feel trapped in. Small - there is only 12 beds in total, this makes it easy to maintain clean, quiet and safe. Showers - are hot and have very good pressure. Motorbikes - A trustworthy place to rent for a cheap price. Koh Lanta is definitely an island you want to rent a motorbike on because things are so spread out. The roads are really good. You won’t have any issues here! Atom - What a fantastic woman! You can really tell she is running her business not for money but with her heart and she cares so much for her guests. I personally always try to support these kinds of businesses, hope you do too. House cat - Of course Fatty deserves a shout out for being the best resident. (He is not allowed in the rooms but is always ready for cuddles in the common area) Wi-Fi - is good. I’m working remotely so this is important for me and I had no problems at all.

Small - yes this point appears on both pros and cons. Although it’s nice that it’s not crowded, there isn’t much of a vibe unless you create it yourself.

Everything is perfect at this hostel.. I had previously stayed in this hostel for 16 days earlier in my trip, then went to Koh Tao, Koh Phangan, and back to Koh Lanta, for Happiness for another 9 nights, because I loved it so much Atom, is just perfect 🥰 she's so helpful, knowledgeable, and so accommodating.. she will help you out with anything you need, she's such a beautiful soul.. and I'm so pleased I got to know her on a personal level, and I see her, as my koh lanta best friend.. she has such a beautiful energy and it shows in her hostel.. she puts lovely little homely touches everywhere, she wants people to feel safe and happy there.. such a chilled vibe hostel.. I love it so much, that when I next come back.. I'll stay a month there.. I just love everything about happiness.. its more than a hostel.. you feel the love there ❤️ My previous review gave all the good points.. I just want to praise Atom, and her staff for the kind and true authentic Thai culture of being made to feel like part of her family.. thats how she made me feel.. plus the hostel has a very good manager Fatty Cat.. forever busy 😆 Do yourselves a favour if you're a good vibe tribe and chilled vibe.. this is the hostel for you! Honestly, it's perfect 🥰

The owner is so so so lovely and helpful! She told me places to go, how to get there and took me to the pier at 7am! The beds are SO comfy, two huge pillows and super comfy mattress and blanket. Fatty the cat is lovely too, definitely a great addition.

Not the hostels fault but the location isn’t amazing but if you hire a bike, the busier part of the area is only a 10 minute drive!

Happiness hostel is the best hostel. We booked through her personally and extended but used booking com so we can leave a review. We are currently still here 😂 as we love it so much, 4 days turned into 14. The place is new and run by a lovely lady Atom, she is so friendly and happy to help with anything. The beds are so comfy and having a little shelf is perfect for storing your stuff, bed is good size so you can make yourself a proper little nest. Bathrooms are clean and working, standard thai showers and toilets but great water pressure. This is a chilled hostel so not for parties which makes it great if you enjoy a decent night's sleep as its so quiet. Free bottle of water everyday and also free noodles and snacks in the fridge. I would highly recommend staying here as it is in a quiet area but has everything you need close by, beach, restaurants, 7/11. Plus an absolutely massive bonus is the hostel comes with a cat Fatty who is just awesome! He is a very good manager 😂 Best hostel I've stayed in and I'm a very experienced traveller. I would 100% stay again. Thank Atom for making such a lovely hostel :) Not massively social so perfect if you want some peace but very new and people are only just discovering it. Is a seating/chill out area to chat to people though.

The absolute only issue is you can't have Fatty the cat in your room, completely understand why incase of allergies or anything like that but his little face when he looks at you go in your room hehe.

Ein wirklich gemütliches kleines Hostel, super zum socialisen (wenn man das möchte). Ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und eine wirklich nette Betreiberin. Gratis Snacks, Wasser, Spind etc.. Außerdem könne Roller direkt in der Unterkunft gemietet werden.

Anfangs etwas komischer Geruch im Gemeinschaftsschlafraum aber trotzdem in Ordnung.

Sehr sauber, tolle Ausstattung und bequeme Betten. Die Katze war auch super und die Einrichtung sehr liebevoll und persönlich. Strand ca. 5 min. zu Fuss entfernt.

Das Hostel lag etwas abseits; wenn man keinen Roller fährt ist es eher schwierig, von A nach B zu kommen.

Uno de los mejores hostales que estado. El trato de Atom y Fah es impecable y siempre dispuestas a ayudar y dando buenísimas recomendaciones. Por ejemplo, pedí un cambio de cama y al instante, Atom organizó todo. Me sentí realmente como en casa. Asimismo, punto que me encanta, que haya incluido agua, té, café y galletitas. Y champú, gel, anti mosquitos … todos los detalles cuidados.

Top Hostel tolle Betten und super liebe (aber auch zurück haltende Mitarbeiterrin ✌🏽) ich habe mein Aufenthalt sehr genossen ✌🏽... Kühlschrank,Wasser und Kocher, Toaster. Ausflüge,Transfers und Roller zum Mieten wurden angeboten. Top Preis Leistung Verhältnis 🤙🏼. Eine Katze Namens fetty lebt auch dort...sehr liebe Katze.

Jättetrevlig och hjälpsam personal. Hemtrevlig miljö med allt man behöver, vi trivdes oerhört bra!

Ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Bett war bequem, das Badezimmer immer sauber und die Mitarbeiterin war durchgehend super nett. Besonders mochte ich auch die Katze, die dort lebt – sie hat den Aufenthalt noch gemütlicher gemacht. Der Strand ist nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und von dort kann man wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge beobachten.

Da fällt mir nichts ein.

Central sur la côte ouest de l’île. Il vous faudra néanmoins louer un scooter pour apprécier Koh-Lanta, donc le fait qu’il soit bien placer est un atout mais pas indispensable.

Moins cosy que d’autre hostel sur l’île, mais le nécessaire est là. Le fait qu’il soit bord de route n’est pas dérangeant niveau sonore.

Rapport qualité prix.

Les lits sont spacieux, avec de la place pour nos affaires et surtout l’ambiance au sein de l’auberge est merveilleux ! Atom et la personne travaillant ici (désolé je n’ai pas son nom) sont ADORABLES ! Il s’agit d’une petite auberge, vraiment à taille humaine et les rencontres se font très rapidement. J’ai même prolongé mon séjour ! J’aurais fait plus si je le pouvais mais je devais prendre mon avion…

Atom est une hôte en or, elle vous accueillera avec son sourire et fera en sorte que passiez un très bon séjour. Elle est accompagnée de son mignon chat Fatty qui vous tiendra aussi compagnie ! Elle est aussi propriétaire d’un café un peu plus haut et du coup jongle entre le café et l’hostel mais elle restera toujours disponible pour vous ! C’est vraiment une très belle personne ! Sinon l’hostel est calme, bien placé, restaurant aux alentours, plage à 5min à pied, 7/11 à 5min à pied aussi, location de scooter à côté. Elle donne 1 bouteille d’eau par jour gratuite, et on a aussi une bouilloire à disposition ainsi que café etc… bonne connection wifi, chambre parfaite avec rideaux pour les lits et petite étagère pour poser vos affaires à l’intérieur ainsi qu’un coffre fort. Je recommande vraiment cet hostel. Merci Atom et bonne continuation ! 🤗😻
