Happiness Hostel Koh Lanta

Really nice stay. Comfortable beds. Good facilities and nice amenities such as free snacks and coffee. Very nice staff too. Would highly recommend.

This hostel is super cute and the host is even cuter. It only sleeps 12, so the vibe is very intimate but also very friendly. Beds are big, comfy and clean. Ample shelf space, light and plug sockets. The bathroom is kept very clean, and the host stocks essentials to be used by guests at their discretion (including skin care, suncream, bug spray, shampoo conditioner, female hygiene). The place offers bike rental and quick laundry services. Most importantly, Happiness Hostel has the cutest little cat friend, which roams about and greets guests. He is great, but if you have any allergies its best to avoid booking here. Couldn't recommend the place more and is fantastic value for money!

Really nice hostel, near the beach and 7/11. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Quite clean. But the sliding door in the dorm was really loud, and it can be so frustrating when 8 people are going in and out during the night.

It has got good and comfortable nice rooms with good water pressure hot water, but I find the toilet facilities very basic which could use abit of upgrading. No footwear allowed in the hostel but the floor was very dusty all of us ended up wearing slippers around. There’s a cat in the hostel and her pen is at the back near toilet which I find it not cleaned regularly so there is cat stench you got to be ok with. There was also one night where the cat was meowing very loudly and knocking on the dorm room door relentlessly waking all of us up. There was another staff to take care of the area when owner is not around and she is not so versatile in English. The dorm rooms were great but facilities and cleanliness can be improved.
