Do not stay here!

The only thing that we liked was the view from the mountain. However, with the disrepair of this place we could not stay. We left before we had even moved in completely. Do not stay here look at all the reviews.

We arrived at the house we had 3 families of people staying in the house. When we arrived, we had to ask about the parking, and the host responded right away. They stated that cars could easily park in thw drive way, but it is so steep that you must have a high wheel base truck or suv to do this as one of our cars was scraping the bumper trying to go up it. We started to unload the vehicles and move in. As we moved items in, the families brought the food for 4 days in to place in the refrigerator and found it was not working. We reached out and let the host know, and they said there was a mini fridge, and the main fridge was waiting on a part. (We later found out from other reviews that this had been broken from back in February the refrigerator had not even been cleaned out from when it broke and had water still setting pooled up.) We had 3 family's work of food for 4 days and no way to keep it cold. We then started to explore the house and found a lot of damage around the house. We went out to look at the hot tub, and the floor boards on the deck were rotted in many places and clearly flexed when the kids walked across them. We had to pull the kids off immediately for safety. The railings around all of the pourches were rotting and could easily give way if someone leaned against them. There was mold in one of the closets. We found doors that were screwed shut. It was bad enough that we ended up packing back up within 2 hours and going to find another place to stay. In the end, we lost the money from this, a full day of vacation searching for a place to stay and $300 in food the family had planned to make our meals with. We ate out spending more money we had not planned on. The host stopped responding to us after we started asking about the fridge. We asked for a refund since we did not stay, and they refused.

We liked that we had a place to stay upon arrival.

You will be told you can get up the driveway, but no. You expect clean, but no where near it! Floors so dirty your socks, if not already, will be black. Fridge, that wasn't working, had food left in it and obviously smelled horrible. Oh, but there was a mini fridge that obviously couldn't hold enough for a family of 9! I wasn't aware of the situation until arrival. Toothpaste splatter on the walls. Kitchen not even wiped down. Food on walls. Dirty bed sheets, obviously had to be washed before my son and daughter in law could even go to bed. Definitely NOT what you see in pictures. Wouldn't let the kids get in the hot tub due to it not being clean. No paper towels, 1 trash bag, only enough toilet paper to get us through till the next morning, thankfully! Trash outside. Just overall filthy! It looked like a frat had a party the night before and someone came and "picked up". Oh, forgot about the dirty towels in the coffee table.
