For a family it was the exact perfect place to stay. The hot tub was a bonus. We enjoyed it very much. Very clean. Plenty of towels. My family and I enjoyed our stay very much and will consider staying again in the future. Thank you, Jon for giving us a nice place to stay.

Our family stayed for a long weekend while we were birding at Magee Marsh. The location was great, with a bayside park and a restaurant in walking distance. Beds and living space were very comfortable.

The communication with the owner was good but the house lacked basic amenities and has some issues. The location was good and house was good but small. The house did not have comforter but sheets and thin blankets. We brought our own pillows or those would have been minimal also. The house had plastic dishes. The second floor shower did not get hot. The cartridge was broken and was not fixed during stay so we could not use that shower. The queen bed on the main floor sunk in the middle so whether you are by yourself or with a close you were pushed to the middle. This could have been a bad mattress or the supports looked to not be installed correctly. Hot tub was a nice surprise but very dirty with bugs and human hair. Front porch had lots of spider webs and we got spiders in the house. Could have used some home defense bug spray. Note that there is not a dishwasher, disposal or washer / dryer. I just did not notice this on description. So that is my fault. For a little more detail and money, the stay could be much nicer. For same money we have gotten better houses in the cedar point area.

Very quiet area, nice area to walk in. A tavern is easily in walking distant as well as a restaurant. If you are looking for somewhere in that area that is laid back, great fit.

Nice place for small family with pets. Can walk along the bay in quiet neighborhood located between access points to Catawba Island and Sandusky.
