I really appreciated the airy setup and the amount of kitchen equipment available. The beds were comfortable, the towels plentiful, and the sheets soft. The host was friendly. The couch allowed for 2 people to sleep on it, and the basement had large beanbag chairs. The host provided wood for the fire pit, and bug spray. The deep soaking tub would have been awesome if there had been a plug. The family games were a bonus, and 2 fans helped circulate air. Washer and dryer and dishwasher all worked great. Fridge with ice was nice. The hot tub was pre-heated for guests. Electronic lock made entry, super easy. Not wheelchair accessible but roomy for folks who need walkers and can handle a few stairs to the porch. I would stay again.

Unfortunately, we lost power during our stay and that lasted about 12 hours. The 3 beds upstairs were already very hot, and since the balcony didn't have a screen, the lack of air flow made it impossible to sleep there. This was NOT the host's fault. There was a BAD storm. Unfortunately again, we moved to the basement to sleep in the cool, and the basement flooded. The host was very responsive in cleaning up, though we did have to help trouble shoot the sump pumps at their request. The host did mention that a new screen had been ordered for the upstairs balcony. I think perhaps a portable air conditioner would make another nice addition. Do be warned: sound travels quickly through the property due to small "holes" in the closets of the ground floor bedrooms. and wall vents between rooms. If you have a rowdy older child, be aware.

The setup was very comfortable! even had games to play on that rainy day. very clean too!

Loved staying here! While busy with one child at a dance competition was plenty to keep busy for the younger kids who stayed back at the house with their dad. They loved getting in the hot tub, having a fire outside and plenty of board games to keep them busy! Comp was in Sandusky so super close to everything and cost less than actually staying in Sandusky. About 20 minutes from a north swimming beach that we spent most of Saturday at. It was a nice get away and my four year old kept telling me how much he loved “the Ohio house”.

Didn’t have any issues or dislikes. Would highly recommend & if we ever have to come back this way-will definitely stay here again.
