About this house rental

This fully remodeled home is the one for you, everything floor to ceiling is new! Two bedrooms, two full baths, sleeps 8 w/kids comfortably, fenced in back yard with new deck, within walking distance to park and beach.

Master has a queen size bed and includes a large closet with ample space and a master bath in the suite.

2nd bedroom has a full size bed with a twin trundle underneath and then another twin size bed beside the full, rooms sleeps total of 4 people (1 child/3 adults).

Living room has a comfortable pull out sofa that also has a 4inch memory foam topper with it that sleeps 2. And then there is also a black futon sleeper that clicks down to accommodate another small person if necessary. Living room comfortably sleeps 2-3 people.

Tons of things to do, near by fishing, hiking, Cedar Point amusement park, African Safari Wild Life Park, Kalahari, and Put-In-Bay is just across the lake (Jet Express to cross the lake is just blocks from the house).

Many wineries to visit close by. You will not run out of things to do here ~ many fun activities all close by.

This home was very pet friendly. It is also very senior friendly! There are only 3 steps to get into this ranch home and everything is on one floor. We would definitely come back again.

Our stay was exactly what you would hope for. We had a week away as a family at a beautiful home near the water. The inside of the home is beautiful. The updated kitchen and bathrooms made you feel like you were at a much more expensive residence. The ability to get to anything you could possibly want within 20-25 minutes was great. We went to Kelly’s Island, Cedar Point, a few breweries in Catawba. All within a short drive. The owners clearly care about their guests. They had all the amenities you would think of. I can’t wait to head back to the lake and stay again.

We had good repor with the owner from the start. She was very attentive to make sure we had what we needed. This house was conveniently located to many points of interests. From the great playground to the beach, to restaurants, and Lakeside. We even took in boating with Clemons Boat Rentals. The property was clean and well cared for. The enclosed patio was a great place for morning coffee. Great memories made!

It was find. Pricey for no longer than we were there - we slept their two nights & had breakfast one day, that was it. We didn't arrive until last in the evening the first night and spent open-close at Cedar Point the next day. Financially we mave been better off going to a hotel but it was clean and had what we needed. The neighbors were shooting off fireworks late at night so that sucked but it's hard to control that.

The hostess, Sharon was super!!! Easy to talk to and very accommodating. The pictures of the home made it appear to be larger than it was. It was super nice, but I felt kind of cramped. Other than that, I would absolutely come back and stay here… with less people. It was lovely!!! ❤️❤️❤️

The property is very clean and centrally located in Port Clinton. The VRBO description does not tell you that in addition to the VRBO agreement, you will have to sign an additional rental agreement sent to you by the owner. This additional agreement contract should be explained in the VRBO listing. I would not have rented the home if I had known about the addition agreement. I had already paid all fees when I received the additional rental agreement. If hotels required one to sign such an agreement, they would go broke.

This home was exactly like the pictures. Its in a older neighborhood but the inside has been completely remodeled. The fenced in backyard was our favorite. So much privacy. It is also so close to everything and a really nice park nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

What a nice home for a birthday weekend celebration! Clean, beautifully decorated, lots of amenities and just enough space for the four of us and our pups. Home was exactly as described online and was in a great location for us. It was close to everything- restaurants, PIB, park, beach and far enough away in a quiet, walkable neighborhood for us to unwind away from the crowds and enjoy relaxing time on the deck. Hosts were very responsive, communicated every step of the way and were helpful with all of our requests, questions and special needs around our stay. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Nice property and good location. Issue was when someone from our party was walking on the deck and a board broke through and he fell. We sent pictures to the owner right away showing where there were no supports under the seams in some places. She admitted there were some boards that were shrinking but had not had issues up to this point. One of the individuals in our group is a licensed contractor as well and we sent her pics of other areas of the deck that are not safe. The reply we got was that she knew there were some shrinkage of boards but that it was built by a reputable company and she just told us to be safe. A few days later I was charged $100 for repairs. I honestly don't think we should have been charged for walking on her deck and it breaking which could have caused injury.

The pictures of the property are great but they do not come close to representing the many personal touches that enhance the experience. A feel-good place to stay. It is a walkable neighborhood and only a short stroll to a fantastic playground. Personable owner who communicates effectively and is easy to contact.

We had a very enjoyable visit to Port Clinton and the rental property. . We were surprised at every turn with how our needs had been anticipated. The rental is a lovely house --- clean and quite pleasantly decororated. The kitchen is well equipped and each bedroom , as well as the living room provide for an array of entertainment needs. Pre-arrival communication as well as check-in with owners was efficient and pleasant. The location is truly within walking distance to the Lake. The neighbrhood is also quite nice. We highly reccommend this property. .

We will definitely return to this great little house! Way nicer than most anything you'll find on the put-in-bay island. It is about a mile walk to the Jet Express. It's really close to a nice playground and park (a small block away) and there is pedestrian light crosswalk to the public beach where there are volleyball nets and a nice walk to downtown Port Clinton. Also, the bed was very comfortable! Plenty of towels. Tons of seating in every space. The only opportunity would be kitchen tools. There is one knife, which was ok, but it took us a quick moment to find it and thought there wasn't one at all. Also, the skillet pans are pretty beat up (at least the larger of the 2), which we used to make eggs one morning. However, this was very minor. The kitchen is beautiful. The host is awesome and is amazing about communicating with you. Thank you for such a great stay! We will definitely be back!

This house was beautiful and exactly as pictured!! It was so close to the Jet Express to Put-in-Bay (5 minute drive) and other restaurants and bars in Port Clinton. Sharon was so hospitable and kind- she thought of everything necessary to have in the rental! Very fast communication too! I would definitely recommend this rental to others!

This was our 3rd year staying here, would have been 4th but the big C kicked ideas of a vacay to the curb in 2020. We absolutely love staying in this house and our little dog does too! She loves walking up and dog the street and especially going to the park. We can sit there forever. Just a couple of blocks straight up the road. The pictures look exactly like the house. The homeowner is also very responsive if we have any questions etc. You will not regret this stay!

When unexpected circumstances required us to bring our pup along on the trip, Sharon was super accommodating and so kind about our last minute request.
